Trifft der Rollladen bei der AB ( t )-Bewegung auf ein Hindernis, bewegt sich das Gurtband nicht mehr und der RolloTron Basis 1100 wird ausgeschaltet. Die Angaben sind Richtwerte und gelten für eine ideale Einbausituation. Auf Grund von bauseitigen Gegebenheiten können die Werte abweichen. Verwenden Sie nur Gurtbänder in den zulässigen Längen. Sicherheitshinweise zur Montage Bei falscher Montage können Sachschäden entstehen. ◆◆ Während des Betriebes sind starke Kräfte wirksam, die eine sichere Montage auf einem festen Untergrund erfordern. 8.
i 8.2 Montagevorbereitungen 1. Maß nehmen. Prüfen Sie ob der Gurtkasten ausreichend Platz für den RolloTron Basis 1100 bietet. 2. Den alten Gurtwickler ausbauen, falls Sie eine bestehende Rollladenanlage umrüsten. 2.1 Lassen Sie dazu den Rollladen ganz herunter, bis die Lamellen vollständig geschlossen sind. 2.2. Bauen Sie den alten Gurtwickler aus und wickeln Sie das Gurtband ab. DE VORSICHT! Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr durch die vorgespannte Feder im alten Gurtwickler.
i DE 8.2. Montagevorbereitungen Das Gurtband vorbereiten. 3.1 Schneiden Sie das Gurtband ca. 20 cm unterhalb des Gurtkastens ab. 3.2. Schlagen Sie das Ende des Gurtbandes ca. 2 cm um und schneiden Sie in die Mitte einen kurzen Schlitz. So können Sie später das Band auf dem Wickelrad einhaken. 20 cm 3. i DE 9. Sicherheitshinweise zum elektrischen Anschluss GEFAHR! Bei Berührung von elektrischen Komponenten besteht Lebensgefahr durch Stromschlag. i Der elektrische Anschluss kann sowohl mit dem beiliegenden Anschlusskabel als auch über eine vor Ort fest verlegte Zuleitung erfolgen. ◆◆ Führen Sie alle Montage- und Anschlussarbeiten im spannungslosen Zustand durch. ◆◆ Trennen Sie die Zuleitung allpolig vom Netz und sichern Sie sie gegen Wiedereinschalten. ◆◆ Prüfen Sie die Anlage auf Spannungsfreiheit.
i 9.1 Das Anschlusskabel am RolloTron Basis 1100 anschließen WARNUNG! Ein beschädigtes Anschlusskabel kann einen Kurzschluss verursachen. ◆◆ Achten Sie auf eine sichere Verlegung des Anschlusskabels. ◆◆ Das Anschlusskabel darf beim Anschrauben des RolloTron Basis 1100 nicht gequetscht und beschädigt werden. 2. Verlegen Sie das Anschlusskabel im Kabelkanal des RolloTron Basis 1100. 3. Schrauben Sie zum Schluss die Zugentlastung mit den beiliegenden Schrauben an.
i DE 10. Das Gurtband einführen und befestigen 1. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose. VORSICHT! Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr durch das Wickelrad. Fassen Sie nicht bei laufendem Motor in das Wickelradfach. 2. Drücken Sie die Auf-Taste solange, bis der Befestigungshaken im Wickelradfach gut erreichbar ist. i Wickelradfach Da noch keine Endpunkte eingestellt sind, bleibt der Antrieb stehen, sobald Sie die Taste loslassen. i 4. Führen Sie anschließend das Gurtband von oben in den RolloTron Basis 1100 ein. Gurtbandverlauf im Gerät Führen Sie das Gurtband wie in der Schnittdarstellung gezeigt durch das Gerät und schieben Sie es von oben über den Befestigungshaken. 5. 6. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker erneut in die Steckdose. Drücken Sie die Auf-Taste solange, bis sich das Gurtband einmal ganz um das Wickelrad gewickelt hat. 7. Ziehen Sie das Gurtband beim Aufwickeln so stramm, dass sich die Umlenkrolle mitdreht. 8.
i 11. Den RolloTron Basis 1100 einbauen DE Bauen Sie den RolloTron Basis 1100 möglichst gerade ein, damit sich das Gurtband korrekt aufwickeln kann. Achten Sie darauf, dass der RolloTron Basis 1100 frei im Gurtkasten sitzt und nicht am Mauerwerk anliegt, es kann sonst zu Geräuschbildung kommen. 1. Schieben Sie den RolloTron Basis 1100 in den Gurtkasten und schrauben Sie ihn mit den beiliegenden Schrauben fest. WARNUNG! Ein beschädigtes Anschlusskabel kann einen Kurzschluss verursachen.
DE 12. Endpunkte einstellen Wichtige Hinweise zur Einstellung der Endpunkte Damit der Rollladen oben und unten an der von Ihnen gewünschten Stelle stehenbleibt, müssen die Endpunkte eingestellt werden. Sie müssen unbedingt beide Endpunkte einstellen, sonst kann es zu Funktionsstörungen kommen. i Ohne Endpunkteinstellung läuft der RolloTron Basis 1100 nur solange, wie eine der beiden Bedientasten gedrückt wird. Ohne Endpunkteinstellung bleiben die Automatikfunktionen gesperrt.
DE 12. Endpunkte einstellen Den unteren Endpunkt einstellen 3. + Die Tasten gleichzeitig drücken und festhalten. Der Rollladen fährt herunter. 4. + i Achten Sei beim Einstellen des unteren Endpunktes darauf, dass das Gurtband beim Erreichen des Endpunktes nicht zu schlaff wird. i Nach einiger Zeit müssen Sie eventuell die Endpunkte neu einstellen, da es im laufenden Betrieb zu einer Verlängerung des Gurtbandes kommen kann.
DE 13. Manuelle Bedienung Die Bedienung von Hand ist in jeder Betriebsart möglich und hat Vorrang vor den programmierten Automatikfunktionen. 1. Den Rollladen öffnen. Der Rollladen fährt nach einem kurzen Tastendruck bis zum oberen Endpunkt. 2. 3. oder Den Rollladen zwischenzeitlich stoppen. Den Rollladen schließen. Der Rollladen fährt nach einem kurzen Tastendruck bis zum unteren Endpunkt.
DE 14. Sommer-/Winterzeit einstellen SO WI Der RolloTron Basis 1100 verfügt über eine Sommer-/ Winterzeit Umschaltung. Damit können Sie die interne Uhr des Gurtwicklers auf die Sommer- oder Winterzeit einstellen. i Den aktuellen Zeitstatus abfragen 1. 2. SO WI Die SO/WI-Taste nur kurz antippen. Beachten Sie die Kontrollleuchte. Ab Werk wird der RolloTron Basis 1100 mit der Sommerzeit ausgeliefert. Die Sommer-/Winterzeit einstellen 1. 2. SO WI Die SO/WI-Taste ca. 1 Sekunde lang drücken.
DE 15. Zeitautomatik; Kurzbeschreibung Gleiche Schaltzeiten für alle Tage i Sie können am RolloTron Basis 1100 je eine Öffnungsund Schließzeit einstellen, die an allen Tagen gilt. Bei Erreichen dieser Zeit öffnet oder schließt sich Ihr Rollladen automatisch. Nehmen Sie die Einstellung der Schaltzeiten einmalig zu der Zeit vor, zu der sich Ihr Rollladen öffnen oder schließen soll. Zum Beispiel um 8:00 Uhr morgens, falls sich der Rollladen jeden Morgen um 8:00 Uhr öffnen soll.

Das Gurtband bei Geräteausfall entfernen Sollte der RolloTron Basis 1100 einmal ausfallen und der Motor nicht mehr laufen, können Sie mit Hilfe der Getriebeentriegelung das Gurtband vollständig aus dem Gurtwickler ziehen, ohne es zerschneiden zu müssen. 1. 2. Safety instructions EN According to DIN EN 13659, it is necessary to determine that the movement conditions for the shutters are maintained in accordance with EN 12045. ◆◆ The displacement must amount to at least 40 mm on the lower edge in the rolled-out position with a force of 150 N in the upwards direction. ◆◆ In doing so, it must be ensured that the extending speed of the shutters for the final 0.4 m is less than 0.15 m/s. i 7.

i Poor routing of the belt can cause the belt to fail and leads to unnecessary loads on the RolloTron Basic 1100. ◆◆ Install the belt winder so that the belt runs as straight as possible into the device, in order to avoid unnecessary friction and wear. i EN 8. Safety instructions for the installation Incorrect installation can lead to property damage. ◆◆ Strong forces are exerted during operation of the system which require secure installation on a firm base. 8.
i 8.2 Preparation for installation 1. Take measurements Check that the belt box has sufficient space to house the RolloTron Basic 1100. 2. Remove the old belt winder, if you are carrying out a conversion to an existing roller shutter system. 2.1 Let the roller shutter move fully down, until the slats are completely closed. 2.2. Remove the old belt winder and unreel the belt. EN CAUTION! There is a risk of injury from the pre-tensioned springs on the old belt winder.
i EN 8.2. Preparation for installation Prepare the belt. 3.1 Cut the belt off approx. 20 cm under the belt box. 3.2. Fold the end of the belt over by approx. 2 cm and cut a short slit in the centre. This enables you to subsequently hook the belt onto the reel. 20 cm 3. Recommendation The belt must run as straight and freely as possible. For stiff roller shutters, mount a deflection roller on the belt box. This helps to prevent unnecessary friction and wear to the belt. Accessories, see page 82.
i EN 9. Safety instructions for the electrical connection DANGER! There is a risk of fatal electric shock when touching electrical components. i The electrical connection can be made either with the supplied connecting cable or via a fixed laid cable on site. ◆◆ Carry out all installation and connection work in an isolated and de-energised state. ◆◆ Disconnect all phases of the mains power supply cable and secure it to prevent any reconnection. ◆◆ Check that the system is de-energised. i 9.
i 9.1 Connecting the connecting cable to the RolloTron Basic 1100 WARNING! A damaged connecting cable may cause a short circuit. ◆◆ Ensure that the connecting cable is laid safely. ◆◆ The connecting cable muse not be pinched or damaged when screwing on the RolloTron Basic 1100. 2. Lay the connecting cable in the cable duct of the RolloTron Basic 1100. 3. Finally, screw on the traction relief mechanism with the screws provided.
i EN 10. Drawing in and fastening the belt 1. Insert the mains plug into the socket. CAUTION! There is a risk of injury from the reel. Never reach into the reel compartment when the motor is running. 2. Press the Up button until the fastening hook are easily accessible in the reel compartment. i Reel compartment As no end points have been set yet, the drive will stop as soon as you release the button. i EN 10. Drawing in and fastening the belt 4. Next, draw-in the belt into the RolloTron Basic 1100 from the top. Belt path in the device Feed the belt into the device, as shown in the image, and slide it over the fastening hook from above. 5. Re-insert the mains plug into the socket. 6. Press the Up button until the belt has fully wound once around the reel. 7. Pull the belt tight when winding, so that the deflection roller turns at the same time. 8. Remove the mains plug again from the socket.
i 11. Installing the RolloTron Basic 1100 EN Mount the RolloTron Basic 1100 as straight as possible, so that the belt can wind correctly. Ensure that the RolloTron Basic 1100 sits freely in the belt box and that it is not in contact with the masonry, otherwise this may cause noise during operation. 1. Slide the RolloTron Basic 1100 into the belt box and screw it tight using the screws provided. WARNING! A damaged connecting cable may cause a short circuit.
EN 12. End point adjustment Additional information about configuring the end points The end points must be configured for the roller shutters to stop at the desired upper and lower positions. It is imperative that both end points are configured, otherwise malfunctions may occur. i If the RolloTron Basic 1100 is operated without an end point setting, the drive will continue to run for as long as one of the two control buttons is actuated.
EN 12. End point adjustment Set the lower end point 3. + Simultaneously press and hold the buttons. The roller shutters travel down. 4. + i Please ensure that the belt is not excessively slack when reaching the lower end point. i After a period of time it may be necessary to reconfigure the end points as the belt may elongate during the process of operation. Release the buttons, as soon as the roller shutter reaches the desired position for the lower end point.
EN 13. Manual operation Manual operation is possible in any of the modes and has priority over the programmed automatic functions. 1. Open the roller shutters. By briefly pressing the button, the roller shutters will move to the upper end point. 2. or Stop the shutters in the interim. 3. Close the roller shutters. By briefly pressing the button, the roller shutters will move to the lower end point.
EN 14. Setting the summer/winter time SO WI The RolloTron Basic 1100 is equipped with a summer/ winter changeover function. With this, the internal timer of the belt can be set to the summer or winter time. i Call up the current time status 1. 2. SO WI Briefly press the SO/WI button. Pay attention to the indicator light. The indicator light flashes briefly to confirm that the SO/WI button has been pressed. The status of the summer/winter setting will then be displayed.

Automatic timer; brief description The same switching times every day of the week. i You can set an opening and closing time for your RolloTron Basic 1100 which will apply to all days of the week. Once this time is reached, the roller shutters will open or close automatically. In order to set the switching times, you must carry out this step once at the time that the roller shutters are to open or close.
EN 15.1 Configuring an opening and closing time Configure a closing time ( ▼ ) (e.g. at 20:30 hours) 1. + Simultaneously briefly press the buttons. 2. The indicator light flashes and the roller shutter travels downwards. The automatic timer is now activated.
