Die Angaben sind Richtwerte und gelten für eine ideale Einbausituation. Auf Grund von bauseitigen Gegebenheiten können die Werte abweichen. Verwenden Sie nur Gurtbänder in den zulässigen Längen. Sicherheitshinweise zur Montage Eine schlechte Gurtbandführung kann das Gurtband zerstören und den RolloTron Basis DuoFern 1200 unnötig belasten. ◆◆ Montieren Sie den Gurtwickler so, dass das Gurtband möglichst senkrecht in das Gerät einläuft, Sie vermeiden dadurch unnötige Reibung und Verschleiß. i Um einen optimalen Betrieb zu gewährleisten, sollten Sie der RolloTron Basis DuoFern 1200 nicht in der Nähe von metallischen Gegenständen montieren.
i 8.2 Montagevorbereitungen DE 1. Maß nehmen. Prüfen Sie, ob der Gurtkasten ausreichend Platz für den RolloTron Basis DuoFern 1200 bietet. 2. Den alten Gurtwickler ausbauen, falls Sie eine bestehende Rollladenanlage umrüsten. 2.1 Lassen Sie dazu den Rollladen ganz herunter, bis die Lamellen vollständig geschlossen sind. 2.2 Bauen Sie den alten Gurtwickler aus und wickeln Sie das Gurtband ab. VORSICHT! Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr durch die vorgespannte Feder im alten Gurtwickler.
i DE 8.2 Montagevorbereitungen 3. Das Gurtband vorbereiten. 3.1 Schneiden Sie das Gurtband ca. 20 cm unterhalb des Gurtkastens ab. und schneiden Sie in die Mitte einen kurzen Schlitz. Die Farbbelegung ist für diesen Anschluss nicht relevant. WARNUNG! Anschlussklemmen Ein beschädigtes Anschlusskabel kann einen Kurzschluss verursachen. ◆◆ Achten Sie auf eine sichere Verlegung des Anschlusskabels.
i DE 10. Das Gurtband einführen und befestigen 1. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose. VORSICHT! Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr durch das Wickelrad. Fassen Sie nicht bei laufendem Motor in das Wickelradfach. 2. i Drücken Sie die Auf-Taste solange, bis der Befestigungshaken im Wickelradfach gut erreichbar ist. Führen Sie das Gurtband - wie in der Schnittdarstellung gezeigt - durch das Gerät und schieben Sie es von oben über den Befestigungshaken. 5. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker erneut in die Steckdose. 6. Drücken Sie die Auf-Taste solange, bis sich das Gurtband einmal ganz um das Wickelrad gewickelt hat. 7.
i 11. Den RolloTron Basis DuoFern 1200 einbauen DE Bauen Sie den RolloTron Basis DuoFern 1200 möglichst gerade ein, damit sich das Gurtband korrekt aufwickeln kann. Achten Sie darauf, dass der RolloTron Basis DuoFern 1200 frei im Gurtkasten sitzt und nicht am Mauerwerk anliegt, es kann sonst zur Geräuschbildung kommen. 1. Schieben Sie den RolloTron Basis DuoFern 1200 in den Gurtkasten und schrauben Sie ihn mit den beiliegenden Schrauben fest.

Endpunkte einstellen Wichtige Hinweise zur Einstellung der Endpunkte Damit der Rollladen oben und unten an der von Ihnen gewünschten Stelle stehenbleibt, müssen die Endpunkte eingestellt werden. Sie müssen unbedingt beide Endpunkte einstellen, sonst kann es zu Funktionsstörungen kommen. i Ohne Endpunkteinstellung läuft der RolloTron Basis DuoFern 1200 nur solange, wie eine der beiden Bedientasten gedrückt wird. Ohne Endpunkteinstellung bleiben die Automatikfunktionen gesperrt.
DE 12. Endpunkte einstellen Den unteren Endpunkt einstellen 3. + Die Tasten gleichzeitig drücken und festhalten. (rot) Der Rollladen fährt runter und die Kontrollleuchte blinkt rot. 4. i Achten Sie beim Einstellen des unteren Endpunktes darauf, dass das Gurtband beim Erreichen des Endpunktes nicht zu schlaff wird. i Nach einiger Zeit müssen Sie eventuell die Endpunkte neu einstellen, da es im laufenden Betrieb zu einer Verlängerung des Gurtbandes kommen kann.
DE 13. Manuelle Bedienung Die Bedienung von Hand ist in jeder Betriebsart möglich und hat Vorrang vor den programmierten Automatikfunktionen. 1. Den Rollladen öffnen. Der Rollladen fährt nach einem kurzen Tastendruck bis zum oberen Endpunkt. 2. 3. oder Den Rollladen zwischenzeitlich stoppen. Den Rollladen schließen. Der Rollladen fährt nach einem kurzen Tastendruck bis zum unteren Endpunkt.
14. Hinweise zum An- und Abmelden von DuoFern Sendern Damit Ihr RolloTron Basis DuoFern 1200 auf Schaltbefehle aus dem DuoFern Netzwerk reagieren kann, müssen Sie jeden gewünschten DuoFern Sender (z. B. DuoFern Handzentrale oder HomePilot®) am RolloTron Basis DuoFern 1200 anmelden. Lesen Sie dazu auch die Gebrauchsanleitung des jeweiligen DuoFern Senders. i DE Der RolloTron Basis DuoFern 1200 kann nicht mit einem anderen RolloTron Basis DuoFern 1200 verbunden werden.
DE 14.1 Anmelden von DuoFern Sendern 1. + Den Anmeldemodus aktivieren. Die Tasten gleichzeitig 4 Sekunden lang drücken. 4. Den nächsten DuoFern Sender anmelden. Dazu die Punkte 1. bis 2. wiederholen oder die Anmeldung beenden. (grün) Die Kontrollleuchte blinkt grün. Der Anmeldemodus bleibt ca. 60 Sekun den lang aktiv. 2. Den gewünschten DuoFern Sender in den Anmeldemodus schalten (s. jeweilige Gebrauchsanleitung). 3. Beachten Sie die Kontrollleuchte.
DE 14.2 Abmelden von DuoFern Sendern 1. + Den Abmeldemodus aktivieren. Die Tasten gleichzeitig 4 Sekunden lang drücken. 4. Den nächsten DuoFern Sender abmelden. Dazu die Punkte 1. bis 2. wiederholen oder die Abmeldung beenden. (rot) Die Kontrollleuchte blinkt rot. Der Abmeldemodus bleibt ca. 60 Sekun den lang aktiv. 2. DE 14.3 Aufräumen im DuoFern Netzwerk Mit Hilfe dieser Funktion können Sie alle DuoFern Sender, die nicht mehr per Funk erreichbar sind, vom RolloTron Basis DuoFern 1200 abmelden. i Alle batteriebetriebenen DuoFern Sender (z. B. die DuoFern Handzentrale) können nicht mit dieser Funktion abgemeldet werden. Um alle DuoFern Sender abzumelden bzw. zu löschen, muss ein Software-Reset durchgeführt werden, s. Seite 39. 1. AUTO Die Morgendämmerungsautomatik Die Lüftungsposition Die Morgendämmerungsautomatik bewirkt ein automatisches Öffnen des Rollladens bis zum oberen Endpunkt. Falls der Rollladen sich nicht bis zum unteren Endpunkt schließen soll, können Sie mit Hilfe dieser Funktion eine beliebige Position (z. B. als Lüftungsposition) festlegen. Die Steuersignale dazu kommen von einem DuoFern Sender aus dem DuoFern Netzwerk.
AUTO 1. 15.1 Alle Automatikfunktionen gemeinsam ein-/ausschalten Die AUTO-Taste eine Sekunde lang AUTO drücken. 2. Beachten Sie die Kontrollleuchte: rot blitzend Rückmeldung beim Drücken der Taste. Den Automatikzustand umschalten AUTO Die AUTO-Taste länger als eine Sekunde gedrückt halten. i 17. Den RolloTron Basis DuoFern 1200 ausbauen (z. B. bei Umzug) DE 8. Entfernen Sie die Wickelradfachabdeckung. 9. Kontrollieren Sie die Position des Befestigungshakens. 10. Fahren Sie, wenn nötig, den Befestigungshaken in eine leicht zugängliche Position. VORSICHT! Das Gurtband bei Geräteausfall entfernen Sollte der RolloTron Basis DuoFern 1200 einmal ausfallen und der Motor nicht mehr laufen, können Sie mit Hilfe der Getriebeentriegelung das Gurtband vollständig aus dem Gurtwickler ziehen, ohne es zerschneiden zu müssen. 1. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. 3. Entriegeln Sie das Getriebe mit Hilfe der beiliegenden Entriegelungsklammer. Beim Drücken müssen Sie einen kleinen Widerstand überwinden. 4.

Eine mangelhafte Wartung kann zur Gefährdung von Personen durch Beschädigung Ihres RolloTron Basis DuoFern 1200 und der Rollladenanlage führen. Sie können den RolloTron Basis DuoFern 1200 mit einem angefeuchteten Tuch reinigen. i The RolloTron Basic DuoFern 1200 is an electric roller shutter belt winder designed for use inside. The unit is installed as a flush-mounted device. The power supply is provided via the enclosed connecting cable with a mains plug or, if required, a fixed installed lead.

According to DIN EN 13659, it is necessary to determine that the movement conditions for the shutters are maintained in accordance with EN 12045. ◆◆ The maximum permissible running time for a cycle may not be exceeded when the equipment is in operation. For this reason, the RolloTron Basic DuoFern 1200 has a running time limit (KB) of four minutes.

i EN 7.2 Improper use Using the RolloTron Basic DuoFern 1200 for purposes other than previously mentioned is impermissible. Safety instructions for the installation Poor routing of the belt can cause the belt to fail and leads to unnecessary loads on the RolloTron Basic DuoFern 1200. i In order to ensure optimal operation, the RolloTron Basic DuoFern 1200 should not be installed near metal object. ◆◆ Install the belt winder so that the belt runs as straight as possible into the device, in order to avoid unnecessary friction and wear. Incorrect installation can lead to property damage.
i 8.2 Preparation for installation EN 1. Take measurements Check that the belt box has sufficient space to house the RolloTron Basic DuoFern 1200. 2. Remove the old belt winder, if you are carrying out a conversion to an existing roller shutter system. 2.1 Let the roller shutter move fully down, until the slats are completely closed. 2.2 Remove the old belt winder and unreel the belt. CAUTION! There is a risk of injury from the pre-tensioned springs on the old belt winder.

The colour coding is irrelevant for this connection. WARNING! A damaged connecting cable may cause a short circuit. Never reach into the reel compartment when the motor is running. 2. i Press the Up button until the fastening hook are easily accessible in the reel compartment. Feed the belt into the device, as shown in the image, and slide it over the fastening hook from above. 5. Re-insert the mains plug into the socket. 6. Press the Up button until the belt has fully wound once around the reel. 7. Pull the belt tight when winding, so that the deflection roller turns at the same time. 8.
i 11. Installing the RolloTron Basic DuoFern 1200 EN Mount the RolloTron Basic DuoFern 1200 as straight as possible, so that the belt can wind correctly. Ensure that the RolloTron Basic DuoFern 1200 sits freely in the belt box and that it is not in contact with the masonry, otherwise this may cause noise during operation. 1. Slide the RolloTron Basic DuoFern 1200 into the belt box and screw it tight using the screws provided. WARNING! A damaged connecting cable may cause a short circuit.
EN 12. End point adjustment Additional information about configuring the end points The end points must be configured for the roller shutters to stop at the desired upper and lower positions. It is imperative that both end points are configured, otherwise malfunctions may occur. i If the RolloTron Basic DuoFern 1200 is operated without an end point setting, the drive will continue to run for as long as one of the two control buttons is actuated.
EN 12. End point adjustment Set the lower end point 3. + Simultaneously press and hold the buttons. EN 13. Manual operation Manual operation is possible in any of the modes and has priority over the programmed automatic functions. 1. Open the roller shutters. By briefly pressing the button, the roller shutters will move to the upper end point. 2. or 3. Close the roller shutters. Stop the shutters in the interim. By briefly pressing the button, the roller shutters will move to the lower end point.
14. Instructions for logging DuoFern transmitters on / off In order for your RolloTron Basic DuoFern 1200 to react to control signals from the DuoFern network, it is necessary to log each DuoFern transmitter (e.g. DuoFern manual central operating unit or HomePilot®) on to the RolloTron Basic DuoFern 1200. To do so, please read the instruction manual for the respective DuoFern transmitter. i EN A RolloTron Basic DuoFern 1200 cannot be connected to another RolloTron Basic DuoFern 1200 device.
EN 14.1 Login for DuoFern transmitters 1. + Activate registering mode. Simultaneously press and hold the buttons for 4 seconds. (green) The indicator light flashes rapidly. Registering mode remains active for approx. 60 seconds. 2. Switch the DuoFern transmitter to registering mode (please refer to the relevant instruction manual). 3. EN 14.2 Logging off DuoFern transmitters 1. + Activate the logout mode. Simultaneously press and hold the buttons for 4 seconds. (red) The indicator light flashes red. EN 14.3 Clearing the DuoFern network This function enables you to clear all DuoFern transmitters from the RolloTron Basic DuoFern 1200 which are no longer accessible via radio. i Not all battery-operated DuoFern transmitters (e.g. the DuoFern manual central operating unit) can be logged off in this way. A software reset must be carried out in order to logout and delete all DuoFern transmitters, see page 87. 1. AUTO + Activate the clear function.

Automatic operation The RolloTron Basic DuoFern 1200 supports the following automatic functions: ◆◆ ◆◆ ◆◆ ◆◆ Automatic timer Automatic dusk function Automatic dawn function Automatic solar function The automatic functions must be activated first in the DuoFern controller The automatic functions are only available if the RolloTron Basic DuoFern 1200 is operated with a DuoFern controller (e.g. DuoFern central operating unit, HomePilot®, etc.
AUTO Automatic dawn function The ventilation position The automatic dawn function causes the roller shutters to open automatically to the upper end point. If you do not want the roller shutters to close fully to the lower end point, you can use this function to configure an arbitrary position (e.g. as ventilation position). The control signals for this function are provided by a DuoFern transmitter on the DuoFern network.
AUTO 1. 15.1 Switch all automatic functions on / off simultaneously Press and hold the AUTO button for one AUTO second. 2. Removing the belt in the event of unit failure In the event that the RolloTron Basic DuoFern 1200 unit fails and the motor no longer runs, you can use the disengaging bracket provided in order to fully remove the belt from the belt winder unit, without the need for cutting it. 1. Remove the mains plug from the socket. 3. Release the drive with the help of the supplied disengaging bracket. A small amount of resistance must be overcome when pressing. 4.
