Programming/Editing a Preset Channel
The EDIT PAGE allows the operator to temporarily change properties of a preset channel. Precisely which
properties can be changed varies with channel and radio type At a minimum, all information that can be determined
by the system during the LEARN mode is displayed on this page.
While on the HOME page press the PROG button and Programming Mode display page will be seen.
Select either of the first two options to program/edit preset channels for FM1 or FM 2 transceivers. Once a selection
has been made the display will show the Channel Properties page will be displayed as seen below:
On this page field labels are shown in white characters and data fields are in green characters. The cursor/value
knobs are used to move the cursor to the different fields and then changes and/or data entered via the value knob.
Below is a list of the data fields used on this display page:
Channel Identifier Field (CH:) – This displays the channel number and ALPHA ID of the currently selected
channel, i.e. the channel you are editing.
Transmit Power Level Field (PWR:) This field displays the current channel’s transmit power level. Power level
is displayed as HI for high power or LO for low power.
The following fields, while currently displayed, are not active and will not contain
accurate information as of software revision 4.
