The second setup page allow the selection of the following
Enable Standby – the active/standby channel operation can be set to active only by saying “YES” to this
option. A “NO” will eliminate the standby channel and the user will tune active channels only. Factory
default for this option is “YES”.
Lock QMEM – To keep users from altering the QMEM settings, this option can be set to YES. Factory
default for this option is “NO”.
Lock Volume – The volume of the headset outputs can be locked in the maximum volume position by
setting this option to “YES”. This would be used when the audio panel already has volume controls and it
would eliminate the operator from having to manipulate both the P-2000 volume knobs and the audio panel
volume knobs. Factory default for this option is “NO”.
Mic Mode – If the audio panel connected to the P-2000 has only one position, set this option to “SINGLE”.
If the audio panel has two positions, one for FM1 and another for FM2, set this option to “DUAL”. Factory
default for this option is “DUAL”.
To Save the changes made to the SYSTEM SETUP, highlight the “SAVE” option and press enter. The screen
will indicate saving of the data is taking place. When the data save process is complete, press the HOME button
several times until the HOME page is displayed.
You can always get back to the HOME PAGE by pressing the HOME
button one or more times.
