- There are (2) versions of CPS that may apply to the RT-5000 depending upon P/N as follows:
- 9. Conventional - All the aspects of any given channel are assigned to a personality numbered 1 through 255. These menus allow the user to modify the settings for the Conventional Personalities.

(d) Advanced – This menu allows you to modify the Advanced settings for the ASTRO
System.
(e) ARS – This menu allows you to modify the ARS (Automatic Registration Service)
settings.
Automatic Registration Service Enable: DISABLED
(f) DVRS – This menu allows you to modify the DVRS (Digital Vehicular Repeater System)
settings.
DVRS Operation Enable: DISABLED
(3) ASTRO Call List – This menu configures group and selective calling features. It is not
implemented and therefore should remain blank.
(4) ASTRO Talkgroups List –This entire menu is used to configure Conventional ASTRO mode
talkgroups, much like trunking. This feature is not supported at this time and therefore this
menu should remain empty. Any data shown on the menu is the factory default and may
remain.
10. Trunking
– These menus contain elements that affect the configuration of the trunking system.
