4. Basic Operation
Please read the instruction manual thoroughly before using the product.
This manual provides useful information in regards to the basic operation of the radio.
4.1 Antenna installation and Removal
To install the antenna, insert the antenna into antenna connector and screw the antenna
clockwise. To remove the antenna, screw the antenna counter clockwise.

1. Overtightening the antenna as it may cause damage to the Radio.
2. NEVER HOLD by the antenna when carrying the device.
3. Transmitting without an antenna may damage the Radio.
4.2 Battery installation and Removal
As shown the figure 4-2, to put the battery, align the battery pack with the groove of the
device and press the device into the direction of the arrow #2. To remove the battery, push the
battery locker and pull the battery out of the device to the direction of the arrow # 3.
