Thank you for choosing Xcellon. The Xcellon USB-EA Ethernet adapter adds a Gigabit Ethernet port to your Mac or PC. It provides secure and reliable Internet access via a wired connection and offers 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet speeds. This adapter is bus powered, so no external power source is needed. Just plug it into an available USB port on your computer and go to work. Full duplex operation is supported, ensuring the fastest data transfer speed possible. Backwards compatibility with USB 2.0 and 1.

Installing the Driver Important: If your computer does not have a CD drive, drivers can be downloaded from www.xcellongear.com/downloads. 1 Insert the included CD into your computer’s CD drive. The AutoPlay window may open. 2 Click on “Open Folders” to view the files on the CD and click on the Windows, Mac, or Linux folder depending on your operating system. ·· Windows: Open the folder of your Windows operating system and double-click on the .exe file “setup”. Follow the instructions in the setup wizard.
Using the Adapter 1 Plug the USB Standard-A connector into an available USB port on your computer. The blue LED indicator will light up when the adapter is receiving power. 2 Plug the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port of the adapter. On either side of the Ethernet port, the green LED indicator will show that you have an Ethernet connection, and the yellow LED indicator will flash to show activity. Troubleshooting Problem Solution I can’t connect to the Internet or the Power LED is not on.
