Occasionally, large jobs, jobs containing a large number of graphics, or jobs that are printed on busy networks may cause the LPR connection to time out. If a time-out occurs, you may increase the LPR time-out values at the Windows workstation in order to allow these jobs to print. Set the default time-out values (in seconds) in the XDOCSUB.
Installation and configuration for Windows NOTE: No uninstallation option is available for Windows 2000. The upgrade process does not overwrite your job ticket (*.XJT) files or the XDOCSUB.INI file, which contains the user preference settings and the Windows XDS printer assignments. If previous versions of XDS and/or drivers have been loaded, it is recommended that you uninstall the old version before installing the new one.
