24.Select [Continue with Install] to install additional Xerox
drivers, or select [Back] to install additional printer drivers,
or select [Exit] to end the installation program.
Installing Xerox custom PostScript and PCL drivers for Windows
XP
This section describes the procedure for installing the Xerox
custom developed printer drivers for Windows XP.
1. Select [Start: Settings] and select [Printers].
2. Select and double-click the [Add Printer] icon in the printer
folder.
3. On the Welcome window, select [Next].
4. Select [Local Printer], then select [Next].
5. Select an existing port if you are upgrading the drivers, or
add a port if this is a new installation.
6. If adding a new port, configure the port as appropriate for
your network environment.
7. Select [Next]. A list of supported printers is displayed.
8. Select [Have Disk]. The Install from Disk window opens.
9. On the Install from Disk window, browse to the hard drive
directory or open the CD. Locate the following directory
(the location that you extracted the executable file to):
Web_xpps/Win_XP/Xeroxdrv\Enu
10.Open the .inf file.
11.On the Install from Disk window, select [Ok].
12.On the next window, make sure that the printer model,
along with the PDL that you selected previously, is
highlighted. Select [Next].
13.If the system asks you to do so, select [Replace Existing
Driver] and select [Next].
14.If desired, change the printer name. The printer name
should easily identify the printer.
15.If desired, make the printer the default for all applications,
then select [Next].
16.Select [Not Shared] then select [Next].
17.Select [Yes] to print a test page to ensure that the
installation completed correctly, then select [Next].
18.Select [Exit] to complete the installation.
