j. Click on the [Save] button to implement changes and return to the Default page.
Security
Security settings allows you to set the Domain Filter Settings and the Only Send to Self features.
1. From the E-mail > Default screen, in the Security area, click on the [Edit] button for Restrict E-
mail Transmission Based on Domain.
2. In the Domain Filter Settings area:
a. Select one of the following:
• Off - (default)
• Allow Domains - this setting will cause the device to check the domain of a destination
e-mail address against the domain list and only allows the destinations when there is an
exact match to a specified domain in the list of domains.
• Block Domains - this setting will cause the device to check the domain of a destination
e-mail address against the domain list and only block the destinations when there is an
exact match to a specified domain in the list of domains.
b. If select either Allow Domains or Block Domains, enter the domain details in the New
Domain field.
Note: The Allow Domains setting is preferred for the highest security.
Note: Duplicate domain details entered in the New Domain field are not allowed and will not be
added.
If a duplicate entry is entered, a pop-up screen displays with the message; ‘Add Domain Failure -
Duplicate entry detected - E-mail domain was not added’.
c. Click on the [Add] button to add the domain in the Domain List. The new added domain will
be highlighted in the Domain List.
A maximum of 50 domains can be added to the Domain List.
Note: The feature will not be able to be saved in the Allow / Block Domains state unless there is at
least one domain in the domain list.
d. You can remove a domain from the Domain List by selecting the required domain from the
Domain List and clicking the [Remove] button.
e. You can remove all the domains from the Domain List by clicking on the [Remove All]
button.
3. In the Prevent Manual Entry area, for Prevent Users from Manually Adding E-mail Address,
select either [Off] or [On].
If you select On, this will prevent users from manually adding E-mail Addresses at the device. Only
destinations addresses from the address book will be able to be used.
4. Click on the [Save] button to implement changes and return to the Default page.

e: Settings configured within this page are applied to the E-mail and Internet Fax services.
5. Click on the [Edit] button for Only Send to Self.
6. In the Security area:
a. For Only Send to Self, select [On] to automatically include the Authenticated user’s e-mail
address in the To: field. Also the New Recipient and Address Book buttons are disabled,
preventing the user from adding any additional recipients.
