Tape configurations
The four basic configurations which can be processed by the printing
system are listed below; an example of a standard label tape for each
configuration is contained in the figure which is referenced.
• Single-file, single-volume (figure 8-2)
• Single-file, multi-volume (figure 8-3)
• Multi-file, single-volume (figure 8-4)
• Multi-file, multi-volume (figure 8-5).
Carriage control conventions
The Xerox/OSS accepts Burroughs printer carriage control
conventions as shown in table 8-1. Note that the values listed are
represented as EBCDIC characters: for example, the hexadecimal
equivalent for the first listing is X'F0F0F2F0' (no print and space zero
lines).
