Adjusting Image Quality
To configure image quality for print settings:
1. At the printer control panel, press Menu.
2. Navigate to Admin Menu, then press OK.
3. Navigate to Image Quality to do the following:
• Adjust Gradation: Use the arrow keys to adjust the gradation for Text or Photo.
• Adjust Color Registration: Use the arrow keys to adjust color registration. You can
automatically or manually register the colors.
• Adjust Paper Registration: Specify the requirements for Tray 1, 2, 3, 4, and Bypass Tray.
• Voltage Offset: Set the Voltage Offset between 1 and 5 for Plain, Bond, Recycled,
Heavyweight, Cardstock, Glossy, Glossy Card, Postcard, or Envelop print options.
• Fuser Temperature: Set the Fuser Temperature between 1 and 5 for Plain, Bond, Recycled,
Heavyweight, Cardstock, Glossy, Glossy Card, Postcard, or Envelop print options
• Altitude Adjustment: Select the appropriate option to adjust the altitude of the printer.
Configuring Init/Delete Data
To configure Init/Delete Data settings:
1. At the printer control panel, press Menu.
2. Navigate to Admin Menu, then press OK.
3. Navigate to Init/Delete Data to do the following:
• NVM: Press OK to initialize.
• Hard Disk: Press OK to initialize.
• Initialize Certificates: Press OK to initialize the certificates.
• Print Meter: Press OK to initialize.
• Delete Form/Macro: Press OK to delete the forms and macros.
• Delete Font: Press OK to delete font. This feature requires Hard Disk.
• Secure Print Jobs: Select the User ID to initiate secure print jobs.
