This means that when a 24 pin connector is used
to attach a ribbon cable, the pins will be staggered
in a non-conventional way.
The radio pin out may be connected to two DB9 connectors according to the
following pin diagram:
Depending upon configuration, before connecting to a computer, each serial port
may need to pass through a 3.3V TTL to RS232 converter such as this SerialComm
TTL-232-33P. The radio is either manufactured for a high speed 3.3V interface or
for a conventional speed RS-232 interface.
