INSTALLATION Plug the XGuard Plus cable into any open port OPERATION -Power the unit. -The blinking red light stops blinking when the voltage is stabilized. -The Yellow LED indicates it’s charging. -The Blue LED indicates it’s at 60% charge. -The Green light means GO (enough to start flying) The unit will keep the charge after the day’s first charge and the green will light on very quickly after topping off the charge.
TELEMETRY The telemetry ports are connected to the following: 1) Spektrum users: Plug a 3-Conductor 12 Inch Extension With JST Compatible terminals (AAVXG0126) to the SPEKTRUM Telemetry port and the other side to the TEMP input of your receiver telemetry and program your radio to trigger at 100 degrees F. AAVXG0126 2) Mikado users: Plug a 3-Conductor Extension With JST Compatible terminals (AAVXG0126) to the Plus’s Mikado Telemetry port and the other side to the TELE1 port of your Neo FBL receiver.
INSTALLING THE OPTIONAL XGuard Strobe (AAVXG0121) Plug a 3-Conductor 12 Inch Extension With JST Compatible terminals the Plus’s Alarm port port and the other side to the XStrobe or the XBuzzer so that when the unit is activated due to a power failure you can see or hear the alarm indicator. ALARM ACTIVATION In case of a power failure the XGuard Plus will kick in and give enough time under power for you to land your aircraft immediately.
