• If you already use Calendar, you'll see your calendar events when you open
the app.
Lock or unlock your device
Use your device's screen lock features to secure your device. By default, the device locks
automatically when the screen times out.
Set your PIN
You can secure your device and protect your data by setting a PIN for screen lock.
To create a PIN, do as follows:
1. Go to Settings > Passwords & security. Tap Screen lock, and tap PIN.
A message pops up, reminding you to remember your password.
2. Enter 4 to 16 digits.
3. Tap Continue.
4. Confirm your PIN, and tap OK.
Register your fingerprint
Your Redmi 10A's fingerprint sensor provides a convenient and secure way to unlock your
phone and keeps your personal data safe.
To create a PIN, do as follows:
1. Go to Settings > Passwords & security. Tap Fingerprint unlock, and confirm your
pin.
2. Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor and follow the instructions to complete the
registration of your fingerprint.
IMPORTANT: To add a fingerprint, the screen lock with Pattern, PIN or Password must be
set.
