Topic: Startup operations DE Replacement instructions: Startup operations Usage of the remote control Before the first usage please remove the isolation plate. 1. Remove the battery compartment: push it to the left first, then pull it out. Aim the remote control at the IR receiver on the front operating panel. The IR receiver should not be blocked. 2. Remove the old battery and insert the new one (CR-2025 Lithium). As soon as the remote control does not work proper the battery should be replaced.

Insert a micro SD card into the slot with the label side to the right and the pin side to the left. If the unit is already on, keep the ? button pressed for a couple of seconds to turn it down. Make sure that the card is intact and dirt-free. AUX input The AUX input is a 3,5 mm jack plug on the front operating panel.

Radio mode interface indicator of an inserted storage medium Now using the 8 and 7 buttons you can search for radio stations stepwise into corresponding direction on the frequency scale. current frequency After ca. 5 seconds of inactivity the unit switchs back to automatic station searching mode.
Topic: Radio mode DE AMS Automatic frequency scan RDS functions Press the AMS button to start the automatic frequency scan. Please note: the provided RDS functions (AF, TA and PTY) in some countries may be unavailable. The unit searches automatically for the radio stations with the strongest signal and stores them in the memory cells 1-6 per frequency band. PTY function The Programme Type function allows to search for a station according to it's type (e.g. music or education).
Topic: Radio mode AF function DE (Alternative Frequency) The AF function switches automatically to alternative radio station as soon as you leave the receiving area of the current station. To active/deactivate the „ AF “ function press the rotary button or the SEL button on the remote control several times till the prompt "AF ON" appears on the display. Now rotate the rotary button to turn the function on or off. You can also use for that the button VOL- / VOL+ .
Topic: Playback mode DE Playback mode Start the playback The playback starts automatically as soon as you insert the medium (USB flash drive, SD card, CD/DVD) or switch to one of these modes. Playback mode interface Indicator of an inserted storage medium Playback progress The playback can be paused/resumed via < /CH1-6 button on the front panel or the < button on the remote control. 10 tracks skip for-/backwards Press the 10+ / 10- button on the remote control to skip 10 tracks for-/ backwards.
Topic: Playback mode DE Skip track for-/backwards Intro function To skip to the previous/next track press briefly the 8 / 7 button either on the front panel or on the remote control. You can activate/deactivate this function by pressing the INT button on the front panel: only the first 10 seconds of each track will be played. Rewind / fast-forward ID3 tag (song/interpreter/album) Hold the 8 / 7 button pressed till you get to the required passage. Then release the button, the playback resumes.

Topic: Hand-free phone call DE Hand-free phone call Bluetooth music Common information Common information This unit contains a Bluetooth feature "hand-free phone call" which allows to make your phone calls hand-free via integrated microphone and loudspeakers. The "Bluetooth music" feature allows to play the music from the external device of your choice (cellphone, smartphone, tablet PC) via car radio speakers. The device should support the A2DP service.

DE For problem-solving regarding the radio reception it is important to know the type of the antenna of your vehicle. Here are the possible solutions for each type of the antenna: Type 1 – passive antenna: We recommend you to substitude the existing antenna by the larger and therefore more efficient one. Shark fin or rod antennas (under 5 cm) are definitely insufficient.
