Topic: Startup operations DE Replacement instructions: Startup operations Usage of the remote control Before the first usage please remove the isolation plate. 1. Remove the battery compartment: push it to the left first, then pull it out. Aim the remote control at the IR receiver on the front operating panel. The IR receiver should not be blocked. 2. Remove the old battery and insert the new one (CR-2025 Lithium). As soon as the remote control does not work proper the battery should be replaced.

Insert a micro SD card into the slot with the label side to the right and the pin side to the left. If the unit is already on, keep the ? button pressed for a couple of seconds to turn it down. Make sure that the card is intact and dirt-free. AUX input The AUX input is a 3,5 mm jack plug on the front operating panel.

Key sound off To turn the key sound off keep the rotary button or the SEL button on the remote control pressed till the "BEPON" prompt appears on the screen. Then rotate the button one step fowards - "BEPOF".

Radio mode on The unit searches automatically for the radio stations with the strongest signal and stores them in the memory cells 1-6 per frequency band. To get to Radio mode press the ? / MOD button several times till you see the prompt "Radio" on the display.

After the announcement it switches back to the initial mode. TA settings If you are leaving the TA zone or the signal goes poor you can set the unit as follows: TA SEEK: the searching for the stron- gest TA signal starts automatically. TA ALARM: the alarming sound appears.

Playback mode Switch to playback mode 3 seconds after the entry it skips to the selected track. As soon as you either plug an USB flash drive or insert a micro SD card the unit's processor reads the data from the storage medium and the unit switches to playback mode.

Here are the possible solutions for each type of the antenna: Type 1 – passive antenna: We recommend you to substitude the existing antenna by the larger and therefore more efficient one. Shark fin or rod antennas (under 5 cm) are definitely insufficient.
