Major soilings can be removed carefully with the wet cleaning rag. Do not use any chemical or alcohol-containing detergents to avoid the damage of the unit's varnish.

Topic: Startup operations DE Replacement instructions: Startup operations Usage of the remote control Before the first usage please remove the isolation plate. 1. Remove the battery compartment: push it to the left first, then pull it out. Aim the remote control at the IR receiver on the front operating panel. The IR receiver should not be blocked. 2. Remove the old battery and insert the new one (CR-2025 Lithium). As soon as the remote control does not work proper the battery should be replaced.
Topic: Startup operations DE Unit on/off Insert a micro SD card Press the ? button to turn the unit on. Insert a micro SD card into the slot with the label side to the right and the pin side to the left. If the unit is already on, keep the ? button pressed for a couple of seconds to turn it down. Make sure that the card is intact and dirt-free. AUX input The AUX input is a 3,5 mm jack plug on the front operating panel.

Topic: Basic functions DE and the TREBLE settings can not be changed - these options are unavailable in the menu. To change the BASS/ TREBLE settings you have to turn the EQ preset off first. Key sound off To turn the key sound off keep the rotary button or the SEL button on the remote control pressed till the "BEPON" prompt appears on the screen. Then rotate the button one step fowards - "BEPOF".
Topic: Radio mode DE Radio mode AMS Automatic frequency scan Press the AMS button to start the automatic frequency scan. Radio mode on The unit searches automatically for the radio stations with the strongest signal and stores them in the memory cells 1-6 per frequency band. To get to Radio mode press the ? / MOD button several times till you see the prompt "Radio" on the display.
Topic: Radio mode TA function DE (Traffic Announcement) While this function is activated the unit switches automatically to the radio mode for the current traffic announcement. After the announcement it switches back to the initial mode. TA settings If you are leaving the TA zone or the signal goes poor you can set the unit as follows: TA SEEK: the searching for the stron- gest TA signal starts automatically. TA ALARM: the alarming sound appears.
Topic: Playback mode DE number via rotary button on the front panel or the button VOL+ / VOL- on the remote control. Playback mode Switch to playback mode 3 seconds after the entry it skips to the selected track. As soon as you either plug an USB flash drive or insert a micro SD card the unit's processor reads the data from the storage medium and the unit switches to playback mode.
Topic: Playback mode DE ID3 tag (song/interpreter/album) The "ID3 tag" function allows to view the additional track information, e.g. name of the current song/of an artist/of an album. This function is available only during the MP3 files playback; the tags should be stored in these files first.
Topic: Bluetooth connection DE Bluetooth connection Before the first usage of any Bluetooth function the unit should be connected via Bluetooth with the device of your choice. A Activate the Bluetooth function on the external device (e.g. cellphone). B Search for a new device named CAR_BT (this very unit). C Select it to build a connection between your cellphone and the unit. D If required enter the password "0000" and confirm the entry.
Topic: Hand-free phone call DE Hand-free phone call Start Bluetooth music Press the ? /MOD button several times till the prompt "BT " appears on the screen. Common information This unit contains a Bluetooth feature "hand-free phone call" which allows to make your phone calls hand-free via integrated microphone and loudspeakers. Now load the playback program on the external device and start the playback.

DE For problem-solving regarding the radio reception it is important to know the type of the antenna of your vehicle. Here are the possible solutions for each type of the antenna: Type 1 – passive antenna: We recommend you to substitude the existing antenna by the larger and therefore more efficient one. Shark fin or rod antennas (under 5 cm) are definitely insufficient.
