Power supply To avoid any accidents please don't handle the unit while you driving. Please stop and park the vehicle at safety place and handle the unit casually. ! Use the unit connected only to 12 Volt on-board power supply. The minus (-) should be connected with the ground (GND) (negative).

Major soilings can be removed carefully with the wet cleaning rag. Do not use any chemical or alcohol-containing detergents to avoid the damage of the unit's varnish.

Topic: Startup operations DE Replacement instructions: Startup operations Usage of the remote control Before the first usage please remove the isolation plate. 1. Remove the battery compartment: push it to the left first, then pull it out. Aim the remote control at the IR receiver on the front operating panel. The IR receiver should not be blocked. 2. Remove the old battery and insert the new one (CR-2025 Lithium). As soon as the remote control does not work proper the battery should be replaced.

Insert a micro SD card into the slot with the label side to the right and the pin side to the left. If the unit is already on, keep the ? button pressed for a couple of seconds to turn it down. Make sure that the card is intact and dirt-free. AUX input The AUX input is a 3,5 mm jack plug on the front operating panel.

Topic: Storage media DE Video format - Best practise ID3 tag (song/interpreter/album) Possible playback problems could be solved using following coding settings, whereby these are only an example: The "ID3 tag" function allows to view the additional track information, e.g. name of the current song/of an artist/of an album. Case. 1 This function is available only during the MP3 files playback; the tags should be stored in these files first.
Topic: Radio mode DE After ca. 5 seconds of inactivity the unit switchs back to automatic station searching mode. Radio mode Radio interface Store the found stations current frequency band current frequency and station name (RDS) There are 6 memory cells per FM frequency band. To store the current radio station keep pressed the corresponding button (M1-M6) on the remote control for ca. 2 seconds.
Topic: Radio mode DE AMS Automatic frequency scan RDS functions Press the AMS button to start the automatic frequency scan. Please note: the provided RDS functions (AF, TA and PTY) in some countries may be unavailable. The unit searches automatically for the radio stations with the strongest signal and stores them in the memory cells 1-6 per frequency band. PTY function The Programme Type function allows to search for a station according to it's type (e.g. music or education).
Topic: Radio mode EON function DE (Enhanced Other Networks) The Enhanced Other Networks function allows the reception of the traffic announcements from the stations as well, that usually do not offer any. As in case in every other RDS function: first press the Rotary button or SEL on the remote control several times till the required prompt appears. Then rotate the button or use VOL- / VOL+ to (de-)activate the function.
Topic: USB and SD mode DE USB and SD mode Choose the file Use the arrow keys on the remote control or the 8 / 7 (switches between file type and file selection) and Rotary Button (scrolls through the list). To confirm your choice press the button ENTER or Rotary Button . Start the playback As soon as you plug / insert a valid USB flash drive / SD card the unit switches to the playback mode automatically.

Topic: Video playback DE There are 4 grades of slow motions: 1/2 1/3 1/4 1/5. Each pressing of the SLOW button on the remote control leads to the next grade.

Only the *.SRT files are supported. OSD inforamtion To view the OSD information press the OSD button on the remote control. Press it again to hide it.

AUX input The AUX input is a 3,5 mm jack plug on the front operating panel. Topic: Hand-free phone call DE Hand-free phone call End / reject a call To end the active call or to reject the incoming call press the /SRC/U button on the front panel. Common information This unit contains a Bluetooth feature "hand-free phone call" which allows to make your phone calls hand-free via integrated microphone and loudspeakers. Phone book As soon as you switch to BT mode the phone book appears on the screen. Your contact data has to be exported first from your mobile phone.

Describtion of the problem Cause and solution The remote control is without function. Solution 1: Please ensure that the battery film is removed.
Topic: Common solutions Poor radio reception: The radio tuner finds no broadcaster or the reception is poor. DE For problem-solving regarding the radio reception it is important to know the type of the antenna of your vehicle. Here are the possible solutions for each type of the antenna: Type 1 – passive antenna: We recommend you to substitude the existing antenna by the larger and therefore more efficient one. Shark fin or rod antennas (under 5 cm) are definitely insufficient.
