Topic: Startup operations DE Replacement instructions: Startup operations Usage of the remote control Before the first usage please remove the isolation plate. 1. Remove the battery compartment: push it to the left first, then pull it out. Aim the remote control at the IR receiver on the front operating panel. The IR receiver should not be blocked. 2. Remove the old battery and insert the new one (CR-2025 Lithium). As soon as the remote control does not work proper the battery should be replaced.

Insert a micro SD card into the slot with the label side to the right and the pin side to the left. Make sure that the card is intact and dirt-free. The Programme Type function allows to search for a station according to it's type (e.g. music or education). TA function (Traffic Announcement) While this function is activated the unit switches automatically to the radio mode for the current traffic announcement. After the announcement it switches back to the initial mode.
Topic: Playback mode DE Playback mode Rewind / fast-forward Hold the 8 / 7 button pressed till you get to the required passage. Then release the button, the playback resumes. Switch to playback mode As soon as you either plug an USB flash drive or insert a micro SD card the unit's processor reads the data from the storage medium and the unit switches to playback mode.

The playback can be paused/resumed via < button on the remote control.
