Major soilings can be removed carefully with the wet cleaning rag. Do not use any chemical or alcohol-containing detergents to avoid the damage of the unit's varnish. Handling the touchscreen Do not press the touch keys or other symbols too hard – it may lead to image distortions, unit malfunctions and touchscreen damages.

Topic: Startup operations DE Replacement instructions: Startup operations Usage of the remote control Before the first usage please remove the isolation plate. 1. Remove the battery compartment: push it to the left first, then pull it out. Aim the remote control at the IR receiver on the front operating panel. The IR receiver should not be blocked. 2. Remove the old battery and insert the new one (CR-2025 Lithium). As soon as the remote control does not work proper the battery should be replaced.

Insert a micro SD card into the slot with the label side to the right and the pin side to the left. If the unit is already on, keep the ? button pressed for a couple of seconds to turn it down. Make sure that the card is intact and dirt-free. AUX input The AUX input is a 3,5 mm jack plug on the front operating panel.

AF function on/off (prompt "AF ON" on the screen) Press the MOD button to switch between the modes: Radio, AUX, USB and SD. 2. TA function on/off (prompt "TAOFF " on the screen) 3. PTY function on/off (prompt "PTYOF " on the screen) Loudness As soon as you choose one of the functions to set, use the VOL- / VOL+ buttons to maximize/minimize the corresponding parameter.

To active/deactivate the „ AF “ function press the SEL button several times till the prompt "Adjust AF" appears on the display. Now use the VOL- / VOL+ buttons to turn the function on or off.

You can select a track directly to play it immediately: during the playback press the 1-0 button either on the front panel or on the remote control.

The "ID3 tag" function allows to view the additional track information, e.g. name of the current song/of an artist/of an album. The playback can be paused/resumed via 1/PAU button on the front panel (hold pressed for ca. 2 seconds) or the < button on the remote control.

Common information This unit contains a Bluetooth feature "hand-free phone call" which allows to make your phone calls hand-free via integrated microphone and loudspeakers. The device should support the A2DP service. Start Bluetooth music Being already in Bluetooth mode ("Bluetooth music") load the playback program on the external device and start the playback.

Shark fin or rod antennas (under 5 cm) are definitely insufficient.
