Radio Frequency Wireless Communication Devices
Embedded in the Tablet PC are various Radio Frequency (RF) wireless communication devices.
• The Tablet PC may contain one or more radio-type devices that operate in the following bands:
• 525–600 kHz band
• 832–862 MHz band
• 880–915 MHz band
• 1710–1785 MHz band
• 1920–1980 MHz band
• 2500–2570 MHz band
• 2400–2496 MHz band
• 3400-3800 MHz band
• 5150–5850 MHz band
• All radio-type devices embedded in the Tablet PC have met all the qualifications for use under
IFETEL regulations and guidelines.
NOM/NYCE statement
All Xplore Tablet PC and Xplore Tablet PC systems meet the safety and technical standards set by the
Normalizacion Y Certificacion Electronica A. C. (NYCE) / Comision Federal de Telecomunicaciones
(IFETEL) regulating bodies and can be safely operated. The Tablet PC meets the following technical
standards:
• NOM-001-SCFI-1993
• NOM-019-SCFI-1998
• NOM-EM-151-SCTI
Internal Bluetooth Module Notice Class B Statement
Class B Equipment: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B
digital device, pursuant to the NOM/IFETEL rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable
protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a residential
environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not
installed and used in accordance with the manufacturer's instruction manual, may cause interference
with radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a
particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television
reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, you are encouraged to try
to correct the interference with one or more of the following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver.
• Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is
connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/television technician for help.
