ORIENTATION
LONG CVD DRIVE SHAFT
Cut on both front and
rear bulkhead blocks
BEFORE inserting the clip on the central CVD shaft joint, apply a small amount of
threadlock on the area where the clip goes.
AFTER inserting the clip on the central CVD shaft joint, turn the clip so that the slot is
90°from the pin. This will prevent the pin from opening the clip.

for drive shaft pin servicing.

The ring can be assembled by hand,
but for easy disassembly we recommend
using snap ring pliers (HUDY #189040)
Push joint against gear to remove gap.
Tighten setscrew onto gear flat spot.
