MB500 Assembly Instructions Pre-Assembly 1. Using a razor knife (Box Cutter) cut the outside, bottom, edge of box along the dotted Line. Lift Box over the unit and unpack. 2. Carefully remove all parts from carton and inspect for any damage or missing parts. If damaged parts are found, or parts are missing, contact us immediately. 3. Locate the hardware package. Remove the tools first. Remove the hardware for each step as needed to avoid confusion.

Install the Left (104L) and Right (104R) pedals to the crank arms.
5 Water Bottle Holder Hardware Step 5 Hardware pre-installed 1. Secure Drink Bottle Holder (105) on the Main Frame (1) by using Combination M5 Allen Wrench & Phillips Head Screw Driver (117) to tighten two Phillips Head Screws (26). 6 Water Bottle Holder Hardware Step 6 #110. 3/8” x 1-3/4” Carriage Bolt (1 pc) #111. 3/8” x 25 x 2T Flat Washer (1 pc) 1. Assemble sliding seat mount (7) on top of seat post (5).
7 Console 1. Use the wire-ties to hold the console mount and rubber protective pad on the front of handlebar (be aware of the console mount orientation). Pull wire-tie tight and cut off the excess. 2. Set the console in into the console mount in a clockwise orientation. Load the transmitter with batteries, connect the sensor cable which is already on the unit, and secure the transmitter to the frame with quick tape as shown.

The XTERRA Fitness Indoor Cycling Console system is designed as a sealed unit and not meant to be opened other than for the sole purpose of installing batteries.
Console Operation User Set In order to get a more accurate exercise result, enter your personal data (gender, weight, units, etc) into computer. Go KCAL MODE by pressing “MODE” key, then press “SET” key for 3 seconds to go User Set. By pressing “SET” key & “MODE” key alternatively to enter the correct personal data. Press “MODE” key for 3 seconds when complete. Measure Mode Current Speed When the user works, the computer will show his/her current speed as shown in picture.
Functional Set CLK MODE (CLOCK MODE) Press “SET” key for 3 seconds to go setting. Press “SET” key shortly to adjust 12/24 hours. Then press “MODE” & “SET” key to adjust time (hour/min/sec). When complete, press “MODE” key for 3 seconds. TM MODE(Auto Timer Mode) Note: Auto Timer would operate automatically when there is motion.
Set the wheel size from 100mm to 6999mm By pressing “SET” key for 3 seconds to setting mode, then press “SET” & “MODE” keys alternatively to select the switch of Km/h ot Mile/h and then to choose the right wheel size. Press “MODE” for 3 seconds when complete setting. In ODO Mode, you may also have 2 choices for the wheel size by pressing the (USER 1/2) on the back. Set ODO value at 4330mm when installing new batteries.
First Time User Instructions Adjusting The Bike For A Proper Fit Take some time to learn how to properly adjust the bike to your body; it will make your workouts more pleasant and a safer experience too. Riding the bike when it is incorrectly adjusted can result in discomfort and increase your risk of injury. Adjustment Of Seat Position Seat Height Adjustment 1. Standing next to the bike, adjust the seat until it is about hip height. 2.
Pedal Function Adjusting The Pedal Straps Place your feet in between the aluminum surface of the pedal and the nylon foot strap that wraps around it. If the opening is too narrow, depress the spring loaded clasp with one hand and pull on the nylon strap with the other to increase the opening area. If it is too loose or to tighten the strap, depress the spring loaded clasp, then pull on the open end of the nylon strap until the strap is snug around each foot.
Troubleshooting No Display on Console 1. Hold down any key to bring the console to “Quick Start” mode. 2. Ensure that the batteries are installed properly in the console and transmitter. If they are, install fresh batteries. Cadence number jumps high or low 1. Separate bikes that may be set to the same console code and are cross-talking, or re-synchronize the transmitter and console (see page 7). 2. Relocate the bike to a different part of the room, away from any RF interference areas.
