This Pump should be plugged into an outlet tted with a
Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI).
1. Make sure the Pump rests on a at, level, and solid
foundation.
2. Keep the pump inlet openings, near the suction base, clear
of debris.
4. Avoid installation in areas of extreme heat or cold.
OPERATION
WARNING: DO NOT let the pump run dry. It will increase wear to the unit and possible cause steel
damage.
1. Verify that the Pump rests on the oor of the basin, if it is not suspended by the handle.
2. Verify that the discharge pipe is properly connected.
3. Verify that the electrical socket is GFCI protected and in good condition. Test GFCI protected outlet
before use.
3. Attach one end of a discharge hose to the discharge port.
Place the other end as needed to direct the water discharge at
least 3 feet away from the source. Slope the discharge hose
downward, away from the source.
WARNING: Do not use an extension cord with this Pump.
Keep plug dry and secured away from water.
4. Verify that water and moisture cannot get near the power supply socket.
MAINTENANCE
PUMP MOTOR MAINTENANCE
1. Any repair or replacement of parts should be performed by a qualied service technician.
2. Inlets should be inspected periodically and any debris which clogs them should be removed (Before
performing inlet cleaning, disconnect the pump from the outlet).
3. Periodically clean the Lower Base, remove the Screws from the Base and remove any dirt or debris.
Replace the Lower Base.
NOTE: Many problems occur due a clogged Lower Base. Remove the Screws from the Lower Base and
remove the Lower Base. Clean out dirt or debris from the bottom of the Pump and replace Lower Base
using the same screws.
