4.3.2 Calibrating via a comparison measurement
Proceed as follows to calibrate the instrument:
1 Connect the D. O. probe to the measuring instrument.
2 Press the <CAL> key repeatedly until O
2
FAC appears.
3 Immerse the D. O. probe in the calibrating solution.
4 Press the <RUN/ENTER> key.
The AutoRead measurement begins. If the measured value is stable,
the instrument displays the determined measured value and the cor-
rection factor of the relative slope (initial value = 1.000).
5 Remove the D. O. probe from the calibrating solution.
6 Perform a comparison measurement (determine the nominal value).
Leave the measuring instrument switched on until the nominal value
is determined.
7 Set the displayed value on the measuring instrument to the nominal
value with <▲> <▼>. This changes the related correction factor of
the relative slope.
