Data transmission to
USB memory device
does not work

Only use rechargeable
batteries!
Ni-MH 1.2 V, >2100 mAh
Error message,
Memory error 1
Cause Remedy
– Connected USB memory device
has not been recognized, e. g.
– the USB memory device has
been formattet to a file sys-
tem which is not supported
(e. g. NTFS)
– Use other USB memory
device
– Reformat the USB memory
device to FAT 16 or FAT 32
file system
(Caution
: Reformatting
erases all data on the USB
memory device. Back up all
data before reformatting.)
Cause Remedy
– A voltage that is unusual for
NiMH rechargeable batteries
was found.
– Disconnect the power pack
from the meter.
– Check whether there are
suitable rechargeable bat-
teries (Ni-MH 1.2 V, >2100
mAh) in the battery compart-
ment.
– Unsuitable batteries:
Insert suitable recharge-
able batteries and recon-
nect the power pack.
– Suitable batteries:
Connect the power pack
and close the error mes-
sage with <[ESC]> or
<M>.
Cause Remedy
– Instrument storage was not
found
– Please contact the service.
