Cause Remedy
– Battery almost empty – Charge the battery (see
section 3.2)
Cause Remedy
– Operating condition undefined
or EMC load unallowed
– Processor reset:
Press the <RCL> and
<ON/OFF> keys at the same
time and release them again.
The software version is
displayed.
Cause Remedy
Display range exceeded
Oxygen sensor:
– Not connected – Connect the sensor
– Cable broken – Replace sensor
– Depleted – Replace sensor
– Short-circuit between gold and
lead electrode
– Clean sensor and replace it if
necessary
Cause Remedy
Invalid calibration
Oxygen sensor:
– Electrolyte solution depleted – Regenerate sensor
– Membrane contaminated – Clean membrane
– Electrode system poisoned – Regenerate sensor
– Obsolete – Replace sensor
– Broken – Replace sensor
