4.5.5 Measuring the absorbance/transmission

Note

The transmission measurement is not described separately in the fol-

lowing example as it operates in exactly the same way as the absor-

bance measurement. The result of the measurement is displayed in %

Transmission.

8 Confirm the result with <START/ENTER>.

The blank value measurement is completed.

The meter is ready to measure.

or:

Discard the result with <ESC>.

Subsequently, carry out a new blank value measurement.

1 Press the <M> key (long pressure) repeatedly until the Pho-

tometry measuring mode is selected.

2 Press the <M> key (short pressure) repeatedly until the mea-

sured variable, Absorbance or % Transmission is selected.

3 Select the cell diameter with <▲ ><▼> and confirm with

<START/ENTER>.

4 Select the wavelength with <▲><▼> and confirm with

<START/ENTER>.
