4.7.4 Calibration
When to calibrate? ! Regularly every 90 days
! With a temperature change
Calibration procedures
and calibration
standards
For the menu-guided three-point calibration you need the following
three calibration standards in the mentioned order:
Preparing calibration Perform the following preparatory activities when you want to calibrate:
Caution
Never open the cells with the calibration standards.
Carrying out calibration

1 Keep the cells with the required calibration standards ready
and mark them as necessary (see page 62).
2 Clean the cell (see section 5.2.2).
3 Insert the cell (see section 4.2).
1 Press the <M> key (long pressure) repeatedly until the Turbid-
ity measuring mode is selected.
2 Press the <CAL/ZERO> key.
The menu-guided calibration begins.
Follow the instructions on the display.
3 Insert the cell with the displayed calibration standard (here e.g.
1000 NTU/FNU) in the cell shaft (see section 4.2).
