Using Preset Stations

12 numbered preset buttons store and recall stations for each band. Front 6 stored stations

(P1-P6) for the current band appear on the screen, touch the channel directly for use. You

can touch the arrow buttons

on the screen to see the other stations.

Storing a Station

1. Select a band (if needed), then select a station.

2. Touch and hold an on-screen preset button (6) for three seconds. The preset number

appears at the top of the screen.

Recalling a Station

1. Select a band (if needed).

2. Touch an on-screen preset button (6) to select the corresponding stored station.

Auto Store (AS)

Press AS button on the screen to automatically scan and store all stations in current band.

Program Scan (PS)

1. Press the PS button on the screen to scan the stations in the 12 preset channels in the

current band.

2. Touch the

button on the screen to automatically scan all stations in current band

to preview stations.

3. Press any button to stop scanning and listen to the selected station.

REG Function for Local Radio Stations

The REG function controls if the region flag of a local station is ignored or if it is identified as

other radio station. You can touch the

icon to activate it – and then store a local radio

station to one of the available FM presets. This will allow to select this particular local radio

station later on, when you are driving in a different region where other local stations would

override your preferred station, due to higher signal strength.

MONO Function for Weak Stations

The mono function allows to reduce background noise of radio stations that are reveived

with very low signal strength. To activate/deactivate mono, touch the

icon.

AF Function

1. Touch the

button on the screen to to activate/deactivate the AF function. When AF

is active, it will select automatically the best frequency of the current radio station.

TA Function

1. Touch the

button on the screen to to activate/deactivate the TA function. When TA

is activated, it will switch automatically to a tuner when traffic announcement comes.
