Set Up
New Device
From the menu , tap
Set up a New Device ,
then choose the
Connected by August
option.
Then choose the
Yale Smart Lock option .
Yale Follow These Steps To Get Started!

Install Your
Yale Lock
Tap Start
to begin
the installation
process.
Before completing
installation , be sure your
Connected by August Module
is installed and you ' ve
created a master code.

Install DoorSense
Optional
Follow the steps
in the August app
to install your DoorSense
which is included
in the same box
where you found
your Smart Module.

Connect Your
Yale Lock
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled
on your smartphone.
Once you tap Start Setup ,
your phone will search for
your Yale Lock and connect.
Then , you'll be asked
to name the lock
and create your home.

Registration
If pro mp ted,
confirm modu le installation .
While your module is installed,
enter your master code ,
0 ,1,0 ,0 .
Th e lock will say
"Completed".

The August app will walk you
through cal i brating your
DoorSense (if used) ,
connecting to H omeKit
and setting up
your August Connect.
