4. Turn the fuel tank cap air vent lever and fuel pet-
cock to ON.

5. Start the engine and leave it run until it stops.
The engine stops in approximately 20 minutes
time by running out of fuel.
TIP
9 Do not connect with any electrical devices.
(unloaded operation)
9 Duration of the running engine depends on the
amount of the fuel left in the tank.

6. Remove the screws, and then remove the cover.

7. Drain the fuel remaining in the carburetor into an
approved container by loosening the drain screw
on the carburetor float chamber.

8. Tighten the drain screw.
9. Turn the engine switch to “5” (STOP).
10. Turn the fuel petcock to OFF.
11. Install the cover and tighten the screws.
12. Turn the fuel tank cap air vent lever to OFF after
the engine has completely cooled down.
13. Tighten further if any screws, bolts and nuts are
loose.
14. Store the generator in a dry, well-ventilated place,
with the cover placed over it.
