INFORMAÇÃO IMPORTANTE Antes de utilizar a sua Mesa de Gravação Digital O2R, leia o que segue abaixo: Precauções Instalação da O2R • A unidade só deve ser conectada à uma tomada AC do tipo descrito no Manual do Proprietário ou o especificado na unidade. • Certifique-se de que a O2R não fique exposta a umidade, não permita que a O2R fique em contato com a água, especialmente se estiver chovendo, nem a coloque perto da água. Para evitar descargas elétricas ou incêndios.
• Não coloque a O2R num local sujeito ao calor excessivo, como no interior de um automóvel com as janelas fechadas, nem com luz solar direta. Desta forma, pode-se produzir um incêndio. • Não coloque a O2R num local sujeito à umidade e pó excessivos. Desta forma, os cabos de alimentação poderiam se danificar, podendo produzir um incêndio ou descargas elétricas. • Não pegue o plugue de alimentação com as mãos úmidas. Desta forma, pode-se receber uma descarga elétrica.
Se ocorrer qualquer anormalidade durante a operação da O2R, desconecte o cabo de alimentação da tomada de AC. • Se for observada qualquer anormalidade, como fumaça, odor, ruído etc, desconecte imediatamente a alimentação da O2R e desconecte o cabo de alimentação da tomada de AC. Observe se a anormalidade continua e depois solicite o reparo ao seu fornecedor. Se continua-se utilizando a O2R em condições anormais, pode-se produzir um incêndio ou descargas elétricas.

Funções principais Esta seção trata de algumas das características principais da Mesa de Gravação Digital O2R, o que significam e algumas dicas sobre como podem ser utilizadas. Automação dinâmica Uma dos trabalhos mais exigentes do engenheiro de gravação é fazer com que toda a matéria prima produzida durante uma sessão de gravação de multipistas e mixá-la junta numa gravação master que satisfaça artisticamente.
A chamada das de cenas é muito fácil, simplesmente pressione o botão [RECALL]. Você deve tomar cuidado para que as memórias de cenas fluam uniformemente entre si. A chamada instantânea significa que você pode se deparar com mudanças de nível abruptas ou interferência inesperada de um canal muito forte. Nota: A O2R permite a transição programável entre memórias de cena. A única coisa que você precisa observar é o som repentino de uma canal que esteja sendo conectado.
Além dos controles de DISPLAY ACCESS e SELECTED CHANNEL, cada canal de entrada e canal master estéreo utiliza um fader motorizado de 100mm. Quando se chama uma memória de cena, os faders se colocarão automaticamente nos níveis armazenados. O movimento dos faders são repetidos automaticamente em sincronismo ao time code durante a reprodução de uma memória de automação dinâmica. Rendimento Acústico da Mesa de Gravação Digital O2R A Mesa de Gravação Digital O2R utiliza conversores analógico/digital de sobreamostras de 64 vezes de 20 bits lineares para proporcionar uma faixa dinâmica de 105dB. Isto significa que a faixa dinâmica de um programa de áudio, de níveis baixos a altos se processam intactos. A O2R amostra sinais de áudio em 44,1kHz, a freqüência de amostra comercial para compact discs (CD), e a 48kHz, a freqüência de amostras profissionais.

Suposições Básicas A Mesa de Gravação Digital O2R foi projetada para ser uma mesa de mixagem digital perfeita para um estúdio utilizando a geração atual de gravadores de fitas e discos multipistas digitais modulares. Embora a O2R também possa ser usada como um mixador reforço de som, o usuário típico terá um estúdio para gravação de projetos ou de pós-produção com alguma forma de gravador multipistas. Para isso a sua O2R provavelmente estará equipada com uma ou mais placas de entrada/saída opcionais.
ADVERTÊNCIA ! A Mesa de Gravação Digital O2R só deve ser ligada a uma tomada AC com a tensão especificada no seu painel.
Composição Básica A ilustração a seguir mostra como compor um sistema mínimo que permitirá realizar as aplicações seguintes.
Ligando e Desligando (Power ON/OFF) Esta seção explica como ligar e desligar a Mesa de Gravação Digital O2R. Ligando (Power ON) É sempre importante observar as especificações para ligar um equipamento no estúdio. Sempre comece com os gravadores multi pistas e masters e os processadores de sinal, então a O2R, e finalmente os amplificadores de monitoração e outros equipamentos. 1. Ligue a O2R pressionando o botão POWER no painel traseiro.
Aplicações Introdutórias de Gravação 3 Neste capítulo...
Ajustando o Nível de Entrada Assumindo que a Mesa de Gravação Digital O2R esteja ligada e que a sua fonte musical esteja em reprodução, a primeira coisa que você precisa fazer é ajustar uma mixagem básica para a control room. Quando você chamar a Memória de Cena 0 “0 Initial Data”, todos os faders de canais são ajustados na marca de 0dB.
Ajustando o Ganho 1. Pressione o botão (METER). A função METER de visualização aparece no display mostrando o nível de sinal para o MIC/LINE 1. 2.. Pressione o botão (SEL) para o MIC/LINE 1. Agora estará sendo monitorado o canal de entrada MIC/LINE 1. 3. Se o som está distorcido, o indicador PEAK fica aceso, ou o nível aumenta até CLIP, pressione o botão 20dB (pad) para atenuar o sinal de entrada para MIC/LINE 1.
Gire o controle Gain um pouco até que o indicador PEAK se acenda ocasionalmente. O controle GAIN deve ser ajustado com certo cuidado. Se ele está ajustado para ficar muito baixo, a relação sinal/ruído será prejudicada, e se está ajustada muito alta, o sinal poderá ficar truncado e pode ocorrer distorção. Função de visualização φ / ATT O nível de sinal pode ficar alto demais para a esfera digital.
O nível de pico é indicado por um quadro vazio. O Peak Hold é muito útil para a verificação de nível antes da gravação. Você pode deixar uma mixagem sendo reproduzida sem assisti-la enquanto o Peak Hold cuida dos picos do sinal. Se qualquer nível alcançar CLIP, gire o controle de ganho correspondente ou utilize a função de visualização φ / ATT para atenuar o sinal e volte a mixar. Se o equalizador está ligado (ON), o ícone estará realçado no vídeo. O LED do botão [EQ ON] do SELECTED CHANNEL - do bloco EQUALIZER também estará aceso. 4. Para mudar o estado do EQ, pressione o botão [ENTER] ou o botão [EQ ON]. O ícone ON mudará para OFF (desligado) e não será mais apresentado na tela.
3. Gire a roda do codificador no sentido anti-horário para reduzir o ganho. É possível ajustar o codificador giratório “G” para reduzir o ganho. O ganho diminui em passos de 0,5dB. 4. Utilize os botões CURSOR para selecionar o ícone de ganho (G ) para a banda L-MID e ajustar o nível com a roda do codificador. Selecione as outras bandas desta forma também. Também é possível selecionar bandas diferentes usando os botões[L-MID], [H-MID] e [HIGH/LPF] dos controles SELECTED CHANNEL - EQUALIZER.
Ajustando a Freqüência 1. Selecione o ícone de freqüência (F ) para a banda LOW usando os botões CURSOR. 2. Utilize a roda do codificador para passar pela faixa de freqüências. Também pode-se ajustar o codificador rotativo “F” dos controles EQUALIZER para conseguir o mesmo efeito. As quatro bandas do equalizador paramétrico da O2R cobrem praticamente todo o espectro do áudio, de 21Hz a 20,1kHz.
Ajustando a Largura de Banda As bandas L-MID e H-MID são equalizadores do tipo pico. As bandas LOW e HIGH estão inicialmente configuradas como equalizadores do tipo shelving, mas também podem ser configuradas como equalizadores do tipo pico. A banda LOW também pode ser configurada como um HPF (filtro passa alta) e a banda HIGH como um LPF (filtro passa baixa). 1. Selecione o ícone da largura de banda (Q ) para uma banda LOW usando os botões CURSOR. 2.
Resetando o Equalizador 1. Pressione e segure o botão (LOW/HPF) e então pressione o botão (HIGH/LPF) dos controles SELECTED CHANNEL - EQUALIZER. Todos os valores do equalizador serão resetados para os seus valores de fábrica.
Usando a biblioteca EQUALIZER A biblioteca EQUALIZER é usada para acessar e armazenar os ajustes de EQ - armazenados como programas. Existem 32 programas pré-ajustados (1 a 32) que você pode chamar e 96 programas do usuário (32 a 128 mais UNDO) para você armazenar os seus próprios ajustes de EQ. Utilize os botões CURSOR para selecionar o ícone RECALL e girar a roda do codificador até que o programa “U” esteja realçado. O programa “U” é um buffer de UNDO (Anulação). Ele sempre contém a última curva que foi aplicada a um canal. 2. Utilize os botões CURSOR para selecionar o ícone RECALL e pressione (ENTER).
2. Selecione o ícone STORE com os botões CURSOR. Para percorrer a lista de programas EQ, o cursor deve estar nos ícones STORE, RECALL, COPY ou PASTE. 3. Utilize a roda do codificador para selecionar um programa de EQ. Se um dos programas pré-ajustados (1 a 32) é selecionado, uma mensagem de erro irá piscar na tela quando você tentar armazenar o seu programa. Selecione um dos 96 programas do usuário. (32 a 128). Também não é possível armazenar os seus ajustes num programa “U” (buffer UNDO). 4.
É possível selecionar o ícone de controle “INS” para inserir um espaço (em branco) na localização atual do cursor na caixa TITLE EDIT. Selecione o ícone com os botões CURSOR e pressione o botão [ENTER]. O ícone de controle “DEL” é usado para apagar o caracter sob a localização atual do cursor na caixa TITLE EDIT. Nota: Os ícones de controle “COPY” e “PASTE” permitem que se selecione o título de um outro programa EQ e colar no seu programa. Estes ícones apenas copiam o título.
Roteamento Para esta aplicação deve-se ter um gravador multipistas já conectado a sua Mesa de Gravação Digital O2R depois que você tenha uma ou mais placas de entrada/saída opcionais instaladas: • Alesis ADAT (CD8 - AT) - Esta placa, de um único slot, permite a conexão de um gravador multipistas digital modular compatível com uma ADAT de 8 canais. Ela proporciona oito canais de entrada e oito canais de saída. Você pode insertar até quatro destas placas na O2R.
Utilizando a Função de Visualização ROUTING De modo similar à função de equalização, existem duas maneiras de ajustar o roteamento para MIC/LINE 1. Um dos métodos é utilizar a função de visualização ROUTING. O método mais conveniente é utilizar os botões do bloco ROUTING dos controles SELECTED CHANNEL. Nota: Pode-se personalizar a O2R para que quando se pressione um botão do bloco ROUTING dos controles de SELECTED CHANNEL, a função de visualização ROUTING apareça automaticamente na tela.
Selecionando o ROUTING 1. Pressione o botão (ROUTING) A função de visualização ROUTING aparece para mostrar as rotas selecionadas para o MIC/LINE 1. 2. Utilize os botões ROUTING dos controles SELECTED CHANNEL para selecionar as rotas para o MIC/LINE 1. A medida que os botões ROUTING sejam pressionados, o LED do botão se acenderá e o ícone correspondente da função de visualização muda para vídeo reverso.
Panning (Panoramização) De maneira similar as funções de equalização e roteamento, existem duas maneiras de ajustar o pan para o MIC/LINE 1. Um método é utilizar a função de visualização PAN. O método mais conveniente é usar os botões e controles do bloco PAN dos controles de SELECTED CHANNEL. Nota: Pode-se personalizar a sua O2R quando se ajusta um controle do bloco PAN dos controles SELECTED CHANNEL, a função de visualização PAN aparece automaticamente na tela.
2. Pressione o botão (SEL) para MIC/LINE 1 e gire o codificador rotativo pan. O LED do botão [L/ODD] acenderá. A posição atual do pan é indicada no gráfico de barras de LEDs adjacente. Como uma alternativa, é possível usar os botões de CURSOR para selecionar o ícone PAN para MIC/LINE 1 e girar a roda do codificador até que o valor desejado seja exibido. É possível ajustar a posição do pan desde a extrema direita/ par (R16) ao centro (C ) e depois a extrema esquerda/ ímpar (L16).
Aplicações de Gravação Avançadas 4 Neste capítulo...
Canais de Send Auxiliares A Mesa de Gravação Digital O2R tem oito canais de send auxiliares. AUX7 E AUX8 são usados para alimentar o processador de efeitos interno, com o sinal restante totalmente na esfera digital. Os outros sends auxiliares - AUX1 a AUX6 - podem ser usados para alimentar os processadores de sinais e unidades de efeitos externos, amplificadores de reinjeção ou equipamentos de gravação multipistas.
Ajustando o Nível de Send Auxiliar O exemplo a seguir mostra o ajuste de nível de send para MIC/LINE 1 no primeiro canal auxiliar, AUX1. 1. Pressione o botão (AUX 1) A função de visualização AUX1 aparece: Os faders mudam dos controles de nível de canal para os controles de nível de send auxiliar. Para indicar a mudança, o AUX LED do indicador do FADER STATUS se acenderá. O indicador numérico correspondente ao botão AUX atual ( neste caso AUX1) também acenderá.
Criando um Monitor Mix A Mesa de Gravação Digital O2R tem duas saídas de monitoração diferentes - as saída de control room e as saídas de estúdio - mais, é claro, as saídas PHONES (que são uma duplicata da saída do control room). Durante uma sessão de gravação multipistas, o que se deseja ouvir no control room é muitas vezes muito diferente do que os músicos precisam no estúdio.
Utilização de Efeitos A Mesa de Gravação Digital O2R se caracteriza por ter dois processadores estéreo de efeitos múltiplos internos: Effect1 e Effect2. Eles são aplicados pelo AUX7 e AUX8 e os sinais processados são enviados de volta através do EFF1 RTN e EFF2 RTN respectivamente. Quando se usam efeitos internos, o sinal se processa sem abandonar o domínio digital. Os efeitos podem ser aplicados nos canais de entrada ou nos canais de return da fita. Os efeitos estão organizados em programas.
2. Selecione MIC/LIne 1 usando os botões (SEL) ou CURSOR Conecte o send auxiliar pressionando o botão [AUX 7] e então o botão [ON] no grupo AUX dos controles SELECTED CHANNEL. 3. Pressione o botão (ENTER) para mudar o send auxiliar de pré-fader para pós-fader. Os sends para os efeitos normalmente são pós-fader. Isto significa que o nível do sinal aplicado ao processador de efeitos seguirá o nível do canal “dry” (seco). 4. Ajuste o fader para MIC/LINE 1 até que o nível desejado seja obtido.
Como o sinal de retorno do efeito é inteiramente digital, se o CLIP for alcançado, tem-se uma distorção por truncamento digital. Nota: Em muitos caso, o truncamento no canal de retorno do efeito é causado porque o nível do send está muito alto. Será necessário ajustar os níveis do canal assim como a atenuação se há truncamento. 3. Selecione o ícone PAN com os botões CURSOR e ajuste a posição do pan utilizando a roda do codificador.
Chamando e Editando Efeitos Após ter aplicado os efeitos no MIC/LINE 1, é necessário saber como chamar os efeitos da biblioteca de efeitos e ajustar seus parâmetros para criar os seus próprios programas de efeitos. Chamando Programas de Efeitos 1. Pressione o botão (AUX 7) até que a tela EFFECT EDIT apareça: Os parâmetros do programa de efeitos selecionado atual são apresentados nesta tela.
3. Utilize os botões CURSOR para selecionar o ícone RECALL. Gire a roda do codificador para selecionar um programa de efeitos. A O2R percorrerá todos os programas de efeitos disponíveis. O programa que está iluminado é o programa que será chamado quando se pressionar o botão [ENTER]. 4. Pressione o botão (ENTER). O programa de efeitos será chamado.

Pode-se criar um nome de até 16 caracteres. Ele pode conter qualquer um dos caracteres abaixo: Mova o cursor para a posição do primeiro caracter com os botões CURSOR. Gire o codificador para selecionar o caracter desejado. Mova o cursor para a posição do segundo caracter e repita a operação.
Pode-se selecionar o ícone de controle “INS” para inserir um espaço (em branco) na localização atual do cursor na caixa TITLE EDIT. Selecione o ícone com os botões CURSOR e pressione o botão [ENTER]. O ícone de controle “DEL.” é usado para apagar o caracter sob a localização atual do cursor na caixa TITLE EDIT. Nota: Os ícones de controle “COPY” e “PASTE” permitem que se selecione o título de outros programas de efeitos e colar no programa que se está utilizando. Estes ícones somente copiam o título.
Conectando um Processador Dinâmico A Mesa de Gravação Digital O2R se caracteriza por processadores dinâmicos abrangentes para todas as entradas de canal, retorno de fitas, e saídas estéreo e de bus. Estes processadores permitem comprimir, expandir, comprimir/expandir, usar o gate ou “duck” o sinal que está passando pela mixador. Os processadores dinâmicos são geralmente usados para corrigir ou controlar os níveis de sinal, proporcionando qualidade e flexibilidade acústica sem igual.
Comprimindo a Saída Estéreo Pode-se aplicar efeitos dinâmicos aos canais de entrada, por exemplo, o canal que foi utilizado para realizar estas aplicações - MIC/LINE 1. A seleção dos programas de efeitos dinâmicos vai depender do material de entrada: um gate para um amplificador de guitarra ruidoso, um compressor para um vocalista imprevisível, etc. Neste caso, utilize o compressor no bus estéreo para acrescentar um “punch” para o sinal de saída.
3. Utilize os botões CURSOR para selecionar o ícone DYNAMICS OFF e pressione o botão (ENTER) para ligar o processador. O ícone fica iluminado em vídeo reverso com o texto em ON. Como é fácil ativar e desativar o processador dinâmico, isto permite realizar testes de escuta rápidos de A-B. 4. Selecione o prompt KEY IN com os botões CURSOR. Gire a roda do codificador ou pressione o botão (ENTER) para selecionar a fonte de disparo para o processador.
Utilizando a Biblioteca Dinâmica Uma vez que se utilizou um processador dinâmico para o bus estéreo, é necessário saber como chamar programas dinâmicos da biblioteca e ajustar os parâmetros para criar os seus programas de efeitos dinâmicos. Chamando Programas Dinâmicos 1. Pressione o botão (DYNAMICS) novamente. A tela de visualização de biblioteca DYNAMICS aparecerá. Também é possível selecionar o ícone LIB com os botões do CURSOR e pressione o botão [ENTER]. 2.
Editando Programas Dinâmicos Pode-se editar os programas dinâmicos pré-ajustados e então armazená-los como programas de usuário. A Mesa de Gravação Digital O2R tem 40 programas pré-ajustados (1 a 40).
Armazenando um Programa Dinâmico de Usuário A Mesa de Gravação Digital O2R tem 88 localizações de programas dinâmicos de usuários (41 a 128) para que se armazene os ajustes desejados. É possível armazenar os seus programa dinâmicos na biblioteca DYNAMICS, ou pode-se apenas confiar apenas nas memórias de cena da O2R para chamar os seus ajustes. As instruções a seguir mostram como armazenar um programa na biblioteca. 1. Pressione o botão (DYNAMICS) novamente.

Nota: Se o programa dinâmico armazenado não é o que se deseja é muito fácil reescrevê-lo criando novos ajustes e armazenando-os na mesma localização.
Memórias de Cena As memórias de cena da Mesa de Gravação Digital O2R são instantâneas em todos os parâmetros digitais do mixer. A O2R tem 64 localizações de memórias de cena de mixagem. Cada um delas pode receber um nome para fácil identificação. Existem duas memórias de cena especiais. “0 Initial Data” é uma memória de cena só de leitura que reseta a O2R aos seus ajustes de fábrica. O outro é um buffer de “undo” (anulação) entitulado “U”. Chamando este buffer recupera-se o último estado da O2R.

Nota: Se a memória de cena não é a que se deseja, é muito fácil reescrevê-la fazendo ajustes no mixador e armazenando-os na mesma localização.
3. Utilize os botões CURSOR para selecionar a caixa TITLE EDIT. 4. Selecione a posição dos caracteres individuais com os botões CURSOR. Use a roda do codificador para selecionar os caracteres. É possível criar um nome de até 16 caracteres. Ele pode conter qualquer um dos caracteres que seguem: Mova o cursor para a posição do primeiro caracter com os botões CURSOR. Gire o codificador para selecionar o caracter desejado. Mova o cursor para a posição do segundo caracter e repita a operação.
Chamando uma Memória de Cena As memórias de cena são chamadas usando o botão [RECALL]. Elas também podem ser chamadas por um sistema de automação ou utilizando mensagens de mudança de programa MIDI. 1. Utilize os botões de incremento e decremento SCENE MEMORY para selecionar a memória de cena desejada. Quando se seleciona uma nova memória de cena, o número apresentado no LED SCENE MEMORY acende. 2. Pressione o botão (RECALL). A memória de cena selecionada é chamada.
Mixagem e Automação 5 Neste capítulo...
O que é a automação da O2R ? Existem 3 passos básicos para fazer uma gravação multipistas: • Ajustes e pistas iniciais • Overdubbing • Mixagem Cada passo é vital para produzir uma gravação satisfatória, mas uma das maiores dificuldades para a maioria dos engenheiros é a mixagem. Os músicos já terminaram o seu trabalho. Eles já tocaram o seus instrumentos e cantaram as músicas. Todo este material está armazenado no seu gravador multipistas, esperando que sejam feita uma mixagem final perfeita.
Automação em Tempo Real Estas aplicações presumem que a Mesa de Gravação Digital O2R esteja sendo utilizada com uma ou mais placas de I/O opcionais e conectada a um gravador multipistas. Nesta seção, sincronizaremos o gravador multipistas com a O2R. Existem 3 maneiras básicas de fazer isto: • Se o seu gravador multipistas está equipado com um conector de saída de timecode SMPTE, utilize um cabo de áudio para conectar ao pino SMPTE TIME CODE INPUT no painel traseiro da sua O2R.
3. Utilize os botões CURSOR para selecionar a taxa “Frame” desejada e pressione o botão (ENTER). A O2R apresenta 4 padrões industriais de taxas de frame (fotogramas): 30 - 30 frames por segundo 30D - 29,97 frames por segundo (30 drop frame) 25 - 25 frames por segundo 24 - 24 frames por segundo Estas taxas de frames se aplicam para todas as três fontes de timecode: SMPTE, MTC e clock interno. 4.
Criando uma nova Automix (Mixagem Automática) Para gravar uma sessão de mixagem inteira com o sistema de automação da Mesa de Gravação Digital O2R, deve-se criar, antes de mais nada, uma nova mixagem automática. Quando uma nova mixagem automática é criada, o conteúdo da mixagem automática atual [denominada como “eventos” (events)] é apagado e a mixagem automática atual volta aos ajustes padrões.
4. Utilize os botões CURSOR para selecionar o ícone de controle “NEW” e pressione o botão (ENTER). A O2R vai apresentar uma mensagem pedindo confirmação, perguntando se é requerido que se faça uma nova mixagem automática. Esta mensagem tem dois ícones de controle: “CANCEL” e “EXECUTE”: CANCEL é o padrão. Para cancelar a operação NEW, pressione o botão [ENTER] ou espere cerca de 10 segundos - a operação NEW será cancelada automaticamente.
Gravando a Primeira Sessão 1. Pressione o botão (AUTOMIX) várias vezes para entrar na tela “MAIN”. Pode-se parar de pressionar o botão [AUTOMIX] quando a tela “Automix Main” reaparecer. 2. Selecione o ícone “REC” (record - gravar) com os botões CURSOR e pressione o botão ENTER. O ícone “REC” piscará, indicando o estado AUTOMIX RECORD READY (Pronto para Gravação da Mixagem Automática) : 3. Pressione os botões (SEL) para os canais de return de fita que se deseja gravar.
Quando o timecode é recebido com a O2R no modo AUTOMIX RECORD READY, o ícone “RECORD” ficará iluminado constantemente (vídeo reverso) e a gravação da mixagem automática iniciará. O timecode será apresentado em tempo real no campo “Time Code” na tela “Automix Main”.
6. Quando já se completou a gravação da sessão de mixagem automática, utilize os botões CURSOR para selecionar o ícone “STOP” e pressione o botão (ENTER). Pode-se achar mais rápido e conveniente parar uma sessão de gravação de mixagem automática parando o dispositivo que está fornecendo o timecode. Neste caso, o efeito é o mesmo que se selecionasse a função STOP na O2R: O ícone “RECORD” mudará para o vídeo normal e o ícone “STOP” ficará iluminado o ícone “STOP” em vídeo reverso.
Editando Eventos de Automação Sobrescrevendo Eventos É possível sobrescrever eventos que tenham sido gravados na mixagem automática atual. É possível alterar eventos num canal já gravado ou é possível gravar novos eventos em outro canal. Por exemplo, primeiro pode-se gravar os faders para uma seção de ritmos na mixagem automática e então sobrescrever as operações dos faders para as partes principais e os vocais. 1. Se necessário, pressione o botão (AUTOMIX) várias vezes para entrar na tela “Main”.
5. Coloque em funcionamento o dispositivo que está fornecendo o timecode. É possível que se tenha rebobinado e começado de um ponto antes do início da música. A mixagem automática previamente gravada será reproduzida. 6. Enquanto se monitora a gravação, ajuste os parâmetros que se deseja sobrescrever. 7. Quando se completa a sessão de sobrescrição da mixagem automática, utilize os botões CURSOR para selecionar o ícone “STOP” e pressione o botão (ENTER).
5. Monitore a gravação. No ponto de inserção, pressione os botões (SEL) para os canais de return de fita que deseje arrumar. A gravação irá iniciar de ponto onde se pressionou o botão (SEL). Nota: Deste ponto, novos eventos serão gravados e os eventos já existentes serão apagados. 6. Enquanto se monitora a gravação, ajuste os parâmetros que se deseja arrumar. 7. Quando se terminar de ajustar os parâmetros, pressione os botões (SEL) novamente. A O2R voltará para o estado AUTOMIX RECORD READY.
3. Pressione o botão (AUTOMIX) várias vezes. Deve-se parar quando a tela “Fader Edit” quando a tela apareça. Esta tela permite que se visualize os movimentos do fader como gráficos de barras dinâmicos. Muitas características tornam esta visualização conveniente para ser utilizada quando se realiza edições detalhadas do fader/codificador. 4. Utilize os botões CURSOR para selecionar “Fader Edit Out - RETURN” e pressione (ENTER) para mudar este valor.
9. Quando se está terminando de ajustar o fader, pressione o botão (SEL) novamente. A O2R retornará ao estado AUTOMIX RECORD READY. 10. Utilize os botões CURSOR para selecionar o ícone “STOP” e pressione o botão (ENTER). Pode-se achar mais rápido e mais conveniente interromper uma sessão de gravação de mixagem automática parando o dispositivo que fornece o timecode. O efeito é o mesmo que se selecionasse a função STOP na O2R. 11. Pare o dispositivo que está fornecendo o timecode.
Edição da Mixagem Automática Off-Line Edição de Cena e Chamada de Biblioteca É possível editar a temporização e o conteúdo das cenas e dos eventos de chamada de biblioteca que foram gravados na mixagem automática atual. 1. Pressione o botão (AUTOMIX) várias vezes. Pode-se parar quando a tela “Event Edit (MEMORY)” aparecer: Esta tela consiste numa tabela que lista Timecode, Memória e Canal de cena e eventos de chamada de biblioteca na mixagem automática atual.
CH.Lib. - chamada da biblioteca de canal. O número indica o número da biblioteca de canal (de 1 a 64). • Channel - o canal que se aplica à chamada. Para a chamada de memória de cena, este campo está vazio. 3. Gire a roda do codificador para mudar o valor da localização atual do cursor. Para o timecode, é possível ajustar independentemente os valores de horas, minutos, segundos e frames. 4. Utilize os botões CURSOR para selecionar o ícone INSERT e pressione o botão (ENTER) para insertar um evento.
Esta tela consiste numa tabela que lista o Time Code, Channel, e os eventos de ON/OFF dos canais gravados na mixagem automática atual. Ele também tem dois ícones de controle que permitem insertar (INSERT) ou apagar (DELETE) eventos. 2. Utilize os botões CURSOR para selecionar um evento a ser editado. Os botões CURSOR permitem que se selecione os eventos individuais (o evento selecionado é chamado “evento atual”) e se move pela tabela de cada evento.
Apagando Eventos É possível apagar eventos específicos que tenham sido gravados na mixagem automática atual. É possível selecionar a faixa de timecode, os canais desejados e eventos específicos que se deseje apagar. 1. Pressione o botão (AUTOMIX) novamente. É possível parar quando a tela “Event Extract” apareça: 2. Utilize os botões CURSOR para selecionar o canal ou canais a serem apagados. É possível utilizar os botões [SEL] para selecionar canais.
4. Selecione “Parameters” para apagar com os botões CURSOR e pressione o botão (ENTER) para ativar ou desativar um parâmetro. É possível selecionar um ou mais parâmetros para serem apagados entre os seguintes: LEVEL - eventos de fader/codificador, controlam o nível de entrada de um canal CH ON - ON/OFF de canais PAN - eventos de operação do pan de um canal EQ - eventos de operação de equalização de um canal. AUX1 a AUX8 - eventos de fader/codificador, controlando o nível de send auxiliar de um canal.
Utilizando a Biblioteca AUTOMIX Armazenando uma Mixagem Automática (Automix) A Mesa de Gravação Digital O2R tem 16 localizações de programas de mixagem automática (1 a 16) para se armazenar a mixagem automática atual. As instruções seguintes mostram como armazenar o seu programa de mixagem automática na biblioteca. 1. Pressione o botão (AUTOMIX) até que a tela “Memory Management” apareça: 2. Utilize os botões CURSOR para selecionar a caixa TITLE EDIT. 3.
É possível selecionar o ícone de controle “INS” para inserir um espaço (em branco) na localização atual do cursor na caixa TITLE EDIT. Selecione o ícone com os botões CURSOR e pressione o botão [ENTER]. O ícone de controle “DEL” é usado para apagar um caracter na localização atual do cursor na caixa TITLE EDIT. Nota: Os ícones de controle “COPY” e “PASTE” permitem que se selecione um título de um outro programa de mixagem automática e colocá-lo no seu programa para ser editado posteriormente.
