rider, passenger, and accessories
(cowling, saddlebags, etc. if ap-
proved for this model) does not ex-
ceed the maximum load of the ve-
hicle. Operation of an overloaded
motorcycle could cause tire damage,
an accident, or even injury.

The tires must be checked before each
ride. If a tire tread shows crosswise lines
(minimum tread depth), if the tire has a
nail or glass fragments in it, or if the
sidewall is cracked, have a Yamaha
dealer replace the tire immediately.
Minimum tire tread depth (front and
rear):
0.8 mm (0.03 in)
NOTE:
The tire tread depth limits may differ
from country to country. Always comply
with the local regulations.
Tire information
This scooter is equipped with cast
wheels and tubeless tires with valves.

Operating the scooter with exces-
sively worn tires decrease riding sta-
bility and can lead to loss of control.
Have excessively worn tires replaced
by a Yamaha dealer immediately.
Brakes, tires, and related wheel parts
replacement should be left to a
Yamaha Service Technician.

It is dangerous to ride with a
worn-out tire. When a tire tread
begins to show crosswise lines,
have a Yamaha dealer replace
the tire immediately.
The replacement of all wheel-
and brake-related parts, includ-
ing the tires, should be left to a
Yamaha dealer, who has the nec-
essary professional knowledge
and experience.
