Audio Driver
Click on the check box by the word
"TDM" (see above).
The
"x"
will disappear, and you can now use your
ProTools
III
hardware like a Session
8
system.
You may disable the entire DAE driver, using the same steps, except
that you
should click
on
the
check box to the
left
of the word
DAE
in the
line
above. After disabling
all
audio drivers, you can use Logic
exlu-
sively
as a
MIDI program.
This is particularily
useful
if the
computer
has no audio hardware, of
if the
existing audio hardware
will
be
controlled by other
software
during sequencer operation.
Switching the Driver Back On
To turn the TDM or DAE drivers back on, just click again on
the same checkboxes. However, before you can make use of
TDM or DAE again, you will have to restart Logic.
