7.4) Creating an Image File
An image file contains all the stored data that is to be burnt onto a CD.
One advantage is that an image file can be written onto CDs repeatedly, without having to
compile the data again each time. Because an image file takes up to 800 MB, it is a good
idea to check first to see how much memory is still free. You can create image files from
all data formats.
1. Start Nero and 'drag' the data, tracks and/or directories from the browser window into
the compilation window.
2. Click on the 'Burn' button and select the check box 'Create Image', then click on the
'Burn' button.
