Verwenden des Master-Modus’ Im Master-Modus können Sie die Tastatur in insgesamt vier unabhängige Bereiche unterteilen, die als „Zonen“ bezeichnet werden. Den einzelnen Zonen können unterschiedliche MIDI-Kanäle und unterschiedliche Funktionen der ControlSchieberegler zugewiesen werden. Dadurch können bis zu vier Klangerzeuger gleichezeitig über eine Tastatur gespielt werden, und Sie können zusätzlich zu den internen Voices des CP300 die Voices externer Klangerzeuger auf verschiedenen Kanälen steuern.
Auswählen einer Performance Alle Einstellungen des gesamten CP300 können in einer gemeinsamen Gruppe gespeichert werden, die als „Performance“ bezeichnet wird. Eine Performance enthält Dual/Split-Einstellungen, Voice- und Effektparameter, Einstellungen der MIDISende- und Empfangskanäle und Master-Edit-Einstellungen. Näheres zu den Performance-Einstellungen finden Sie auf Seite 73. Im CP300 befinden sich insgesamt 64 voreingestellte Performances (Presets).
Aufzeichnen Ihres Spiels In diesem Kapitel wird beschrieben, wie Sie Ihr Spiel mit Hilfe der vielseitigen Aufnahmefunktionen des CP300 aufnehmen. Einstellungen für Song-Aufnahme und -Wiedergabe – Song Settings Parameter Quantize Quick Play Hiermit können Sie das Timing aufgezeichneter Noten korrigieren. Wenn Ihr Spiel z. B. an einigen Stellen nicht im Timing war, können Sie die Noten auf exakte Achtel oder Sechzehntelnoten korrigieren. Die mit Quantize vorgenommenen Änderungen betreffen den gesamten Song.
Einstellungen für Song-Aufnahme und -Wiedergabe – Song angezeigt. Es kann bei einigen Songs dennoch vorkommen, dass alle Kanäle (einschließlich Kanälen ohne Inhalt) angezeigt werden. HINWEIS Wenn Sie mit dem Parameter „ALL“ alle Kanäle löschen, können Sie den Song überschreiben. In diesem Fall wird eine leere Song-Datei ohne Spurdaten gespeichert. Time Signature Hiermit legen Sie das Taktmaß des Metronom-Klicks fest.
Anschließen von Computer und MIDI-Geräten VORSICHT Achten Sie zunächst darauf, dass alle Lautstärkeeinstellungen auf deren Minimalwerte gestellt sind. Anschließen von Computer und MIDI-Geräten Anschließen an ein Mischpult Neben den Haupt-Ausgangsbuchsen OUTPUT L/R gibt es noch weitere Audioausgänge. Das CP300 besitzt zusätzlich symmetrische, professionell verwendbare XLR-Buchsen für die Signale OUTPUT L/R. Diese Anschlussart wird für professionelle Studiogeräte und Installationen verwendet.
Anschließen von Computer und MIDI-Geräten Anschließen externer MIDI-Geräte Sie können über ein MIDI-Standardkabel (separat erhältlich) ein externes MIDI-Gerät anschließen und es von Ihrem CP300 aus steuern. Genauso können Sie ein externes MIDI-Gerät (beispielsweise ein Keyboard oder einen Sequenzer) zur Steuerung der Sounds des CP300 verwenden. Im Folgenden finden Sie verschiedene MIDI-Verbindungsbeispiele. Verwenden Sie die Lösung, die Ihrem geplanten Setup am nächsten kommt.
Anschließen von Computer und MIDI-Geräten Steuern eines externen MIDI-Keyboards Mit dieser Verbindung können Sie die Sounds eines externen MIDI-Klangerzeugers (Synthesizer, Tongeneratormoduls usw.) über die Tastatur des CP300 spielen. Verwenden Sie diese Verbindung, um die Sounds des angeschlossenen Instruments als Layer mit dem CP300 zu spielen, oder verwenden Sie die vielseitigen Zone-Funktionen (Seite 39) um die Tastatur in verschiedene Bereiche aufzuteilen.
Anschließen von Computer und MIDI-Geräten Anschließen an einen Computer Der Anschluss dieses Instruments an einen Computer über MIDI eröffnet eine ganz Welt musikalischer Möglichkeiten – zum Beispiel der Einsatz von Sequenzer-Software für die Aufnahme und Wiedergabe von Kompositionen mit den Sounds des CP300. Um das Instrument mit einem Computer über eine USB-Verbindung verwenden zu können, müssen Sie einen geeigneten USB-MIDI-Treiber installieren.
Anschließen von Computer und MIDI-Geräten Einsatz von Local On/Off bei angeschlossenem Computer Wenn Sie das CP300 an einen Computer anschließen, werden die Spieldaten der Tastatur normalerweise an den Computer gesendet und dann zur Steuerung des Klangerzeugers des CP300 vom Computer zurückgesendet.
