Preparing the CRW3200UX Drive

The CRW3200UX drive needs to be connected to the USB port on the
computer. The drive connected to the computer via a USB hub may not
operate properly.
When the CRW3200UX drive is connected to a USB 1.1-compliant port on
the computer, the drive operates with USB 1.1 specifications. (P. 9)
Installation of the device drivers starts automatically when the CRW3200UX
drive is connected to the computer.
The device drivers need to be installed only once when first installing the
device.
For Windows 98 Second Edition
Install the included device drivers.
For details, refer to the separate manual Device Driver Installation Guide that
comes with the CRW3200UX.
For Windows Me/2000 Professional/XP
The device drivers of the operating system standard are installed automatically.
The device drivers are installed for each USB port. If you connect the drive to a USB
port where the device drivers have not yet been installed, a message to install the
device driver will be shown.
After connecting the CRW3200UX drive to the computer, follow the steps
below to check that the drive is recognized properly by the computer.
For Windows 98 Second Edition/Me

Select Start on the task bar, then Settings, Control Panel, System, and
Device Manager tab. The Device Manager dialog box appears.
For Windows Me, if the System icon is not found in the Control Panel window,
click view all Control Panel options on the left side of the window.
