Configuring iPad network settings
Configuring iPad network settings using DHCP
DHCP (dynamic host configuration protocol) is a network protocol in which a DHCP server automatically
assigns IP addresses to devices on the network. Use the following procedure to configure the iPad to use
DHCP.
1 Open the [Settings] screen on the iPad.
2 Select Wi-Fi and then the network name.
3 Tap the blue mark to the right of the current network to open the screen for editing
IP addresses.
4 Select [Configure IP] → [Auto-Join], and then confirm that the iPad has received
settings for the IP Address (IP address), Subnet Mask, Router, and DNS.
5 You can select [Renew Lease] if the data is not reflected.
6 When settings are complete, close the [Settings] screen.
NOTE
(
When connecting with AUTO (p.17), make sure the IP address matches the subnet assigned to the DM3 Series console.
(
If DHCP settings are not applied after trying step 5 above, check the settings of the DHCP server. You can also configure your iPad
to use a static IP address.
