Older Wi-Fi access points that do not support the AUTO-MDIX function require that you connect the console using a crossover
cable. For access points that support AUTO-MDIX (most do today), you can use either a straight cable or a crossover cable.

Make sure the LAN cable from the console is connect to a LAN port of a Wi-Fi access point. Do not connect to the WAN port.

NOTE
(
Connecting via cable requires a USB-C-USB adapter (or a Lightning-USB 3 camera adapter) and a USB Ethernet adapter, which are
sold separately. Using a Lightning-USB 3 Camera Adapter necessitates a power supply for the Lightning-USB 3 Camera Adapter.
(
When switching between wired and Wi-Fi connections, do so offline.
(
When connected via both wired and Wi-Fi connections, the system auto-recognizes the situation and gives priority to the wired
connection.
