Limiter
Click the Speaker Processor [Limiter] button to open the window. Limiter settings are provided for
each output channel.
Name Function
1 Limiter Curve A graphic representation of limiter response. The
horizontal axis represents input level, and the vertical
axis represents output level.
2 Gain Reduction Meter Displays the amount of gain reduction.
3 Output Meter Displays the output level.
Parameter Range Function
4 Threshold -54 dB to ±0 dB Sets the threshold level.
5 Attack Fast
Mid
Slow
Manual (0 to 120ms)
Sets the attack time.
6 Release Fast
Mid
Slow
Manual
(44.1kHz: 6ms to46s
48kHz: 5ms to 42.3s
88.2kHz: 3ms to 23s
96kHz: 3ms to 21.1s)
Sets the release time.
With the [Fast], [Mid], or [Slow] settings the optimum
value is automatically set based on the longest
wavelength audio signal received by the limiter.
7 On ON/OFF Turns the limiter ON. The limiter is bypassed when the
button is turned OFF.
