Limiter
Click the Speaker Processor [Limiter] button to open the window. Limiter settings are provided for
each output channel.
Name Function
1
Limiter Curve A graphic representation of limiter response. The
horizontal axis represents input level, and the vertical
axis represents output level.
2
Gain Reduction Meter Displays the amount of gain reduction.
3
Output Meter Displays the output level.
Parameter Range Function
4
Threshold -54 dB to ±0 dB Sets the threshold level.
5
Attack Fast
Mid
Slow
Manual (0 to 120ms)
Selects the attack speed of the limiter. If the Manual
setting is selected, specify the attack time in msec
units. If Fast/Mid/Slow is selected, the attack time is
specified roughly according to the HPF cutoff
frequency of Speaker Processor’s Crossover.
Fast : 1/4 wavelength of cutoff frequency
Mid : 1/2 wavelength of cutoff frequency
Slow : 1 wavelength of cutoff frequency
6
Release Fast
Mid
Slow
Manual
(44.1kHz: 6ms to46s
48kHz: 5ms to 42.3s
88.2kHz: 3ms to 23s
96kHz: 3ms to 21.1s)
Selects the release speed of the limiter. If the Manual
setting is selected, specify the release time in msec. If
Fast/Mid/Slow is selected, the release time is specified
roughly according to the HPF cutoff frequency of
Speaker Processor’s Crossover.
Fast : 4 wavelength of cutoff frequency
Mid : 8 wavelength of cutoff frequency
Slow : 16 wavelength of cutoff frequency
7
On ON/OFF Turns the limiter ON. The limiter is bypassed when the
button is turned OFF.
