7-1. Kit Lock
Normally, when you select a song, the drum module auto-
matically chooses the most appropriate kit. You can, how-
ever, use the Kit Lock function to prevent this if you wish to
keep the current kit when practicing with different songs.
1. While holding the [KIT] button, press the [SONG] but-
ton to activate Menu Mode.
2. Press number button [7] to select the Other Settings
parameter group.
3. Press number button [1] to select the Kit Lock parame-
ter.
4. Set the parameter using number button [1] or [2]. The
available settings are as follows.
7-2. Voice Guidance Volume
1. While holding the [KIT] button, press the [SONG] but-
ton to activate Menu Mode.
2. Press number button [7] to select the Other Settings
parameter group.
3. Press number button [2] to select the Voice Guidance
Volume parameter.
4. Enter a new voice guidance volume using number but-
tons [1] to [10/0]. Larger setting values represent higher
volumes and vice-versa.
7-3. Auto Power-Off Time
Using the following procedure, you can set the time until
the Auto Power-Off function (page 20) activates or you can
disable this function.
1. While holding the [KIT] button, press the [SONG] but-
ton to activate Menu Mode.
2. Press number button [7] to select the Other Settings
parameter group.
3. Press number button [3] to select the Auto Power-Off
Time parameter.
4. Set a time or disable this function using the correspond-
ing number button ([1] to [7]). The available settings are
as follows.
7-4. Stereo/Mono
Using the following procedure, you can set the [PHONES/
OUTPUT] jack to output either mono or stereo sound. We
recommend that you select the Mono setting if connecting a
standard mono-audio cable to this jack in order to use your
drum module with external speakers, a mixer, or other simi-
lar equipment.
1. While holding the [KIT] button, press the [SONG] but-
ton to activate Menu Mode.
2. Press number button [7] to select the Other Settings
parameter group.
3. Press number button [4] to select the Stereo/Mono
parameter.
4. Set the parameter using number button [1] or [2]. The
available settings are as follows.
