Connecting Separately Sold Add-ons and External Devices

Integrating Separately Sold Accessories
You can expand your electronic drum kit with various accessories* for an even more enjoyable drumming experience.

Adding a XP125SD-M (Separately
Sold)
Add a separately sold pad to the DTX-PRO to play the
drum or percussion sounds or to control functions by strik-
ing the pad.
1.
Turn off the drum trigger module.
2.
Attach the XP125SD-M to your drum rack.
Using the cable that came with the XP125SD-M, con-
nect it to the !4 jack on the DTX-PRO.
3.
Turn on the drum trigger module.
4.
Choose the correct pad type for the
XP125SD-M.

Using a RHH135 (Separately Sold)
Instead of the Hi-hat Pad Included
in the DTX6K-X Kit
You can use a RHH135 (separately sold) instead of the hi-
hat pad included in the DTX6K-X Kit. This way, you can
play different sounds by striking different sections (or
“Zones”) of the pad.
1.
Turn off the drum trigger module.
2.
Connect the cable included with the
RHH135 from the PAD jack of the RHH135
to the !1HI-HAT jack on the DTX-PRO,
and from the HI-HAT jack on the RHH135
to the CONTROL jack on the DTX-PRO.
3.
Turn on the drum trigger module.
4.
Choose the correct pad type for the
RHH135.
