DVD/VHS Combo Multi-Drive Recorder
The D-VR4 combines most
of Toshiba’s high quality
DVD recorder technology
with VHS capability.
This allows you to
conveniently transfer content from
a VHS tape to DVD or DVD content to VHS. Dubbing from VHS to DVD provides the
capability of either transferring the entire tape, or transfer multiple individual
segments by programming the time codes through the use of an on-screen menu.
DVD/HDD Combo Recorders with TiVo Service
The RS-TX20 and RS-TX60 are digital
media servers featuring TiVo technology
with DVD recording. They include high
capacity hard drive (RS-TX20 includes a
120GB, the RS-TX60 a 160GB) with the
capability to record up to 140 or 200
hours (respectively) of your favorite TV
programs. With the addition of a front panel DV input, they also offer the ability to transfer camcorder material to the hard
drive and then to DVD quickly and easily.
With TiVo Basic Service included (no subscription fee), you can select programs to record from a 3-day program guide, save
them to the hard drive and view them at your leisure, or record your shows to DVD quickly and easily. TiVo's easy to use
interface can automatically create a DVD Menu based on your selections, or titles can be manually entered. In either case,
simplicity is the key. The TiVo Basic service also includes “Trick Play” features including the ability to pause and rewind live
TV, and manual recording capability with repeat function. Additionally, both come with a 45-day free trial of the TiVo Plus
service. Other key features include Progressive Scan component video outputs (DVD and DVR signals), capability to record
in DVD-R and DVD-RW formats, as well as an IR blaster for Cable Box and Satellite Receiver control.

rating, station identifier, and time and date.

programs by title, set up Season Pass record-
ings and create WishLists for favorite shows.
