5 Press PTY SEEK START.
The DVD receiver starts searching for the
corresponding Radio Data System stations. The DVD
receiver stops searching when the selected program
type is found. The program name shows up on the
display panel.
To cancel PTY SEEK
Press PTY SEEK START again.
To switch the information display of
Radio Data System
While receiving Radio Data System, press FREQ/TEXT.
Each time you press the button, the information display
changes as follows:
Information type
• PROGRAM SERVICE (PS)
Displays the station name.
• PROGRAM TYPE (PTY)
Displays the program type (genre).
– The available Radio Data System information
types vary depending on the station.
– If the signal transmission of the Radio Data System
station is too weak, the DVD receiver may not be
able to receive Radio Data System information
completely.
