Recalling the preset stations
If you have stored the preset stations based on “Presetting
radio stations”, you can recall them using the following
procedures.
1 Press TUNER on the remote control.
“FM” appears in the front panel display.
2 Press PRESET/TUNE to select preset tuning mode.
Hint
If a colon(:) appears, the system is set to preset tuning
mode.
3 Use A-E / to select the preset group (A to E).
4 Use PRESET / to select the preset number
you want (1 to 8).
Hint
You can specify the preset number using Numeric
keypad 0-9 by switching FUNC./10KEY to 10KEY.
Receiving Radio Data System
stations (Europe and Russia
models only)
Radio Data System is a data transmission system used by
FM stations in many countries. This unit can receive
various Radio Data System data such as PS (program
service), PTY (program type), RT (radio text), CT (clock
time) when receiving Radio Data System broadcasting
stations.
To switch the information type of
Radio Data System
While receiving Radio Data System broadcasting stations,
press FREQ/TEXT.
Each time you press the button, the displayed information
changes as follows:
Information type
PROGRAM SERVICE (PS)
Displays the currently received Radio Data System
program.
PROGRAM TYPE (PTY)
Displays the type of the currently received Radio Data
System program.
RADIO TEXT (RT)
Displays the information of the currently received Radio
Data System program.
CLOCK TIME (CT)
Displays the current time.
FREQUENCY
Displays the frequency and preset group and number.
