POLICIES & PROCEDURES
HOW TO ORDER:

DEALER NUMBER:
This program is only available to authorized Yamaha dealers. Please include your Yamaha Dealer Number on
all correspondence.
TAXES:
State and/or local taxes will be added if applicable.
PAYMENT:
All orders will be billed through Yamaha under your normal billing terms.
FREIGHT:
You may choose from UPS Ground, UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2-Day, or UPS 3-Day. Large, heavy items such as equipment
will be shipped by truck. Shipments will be made F.O.B., Santa Clara, California. Freight charges will be added to your bill.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT:
Technical Support is available by calling toll-free 1-800-708-3184 Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pacific time.
DAMAGED SHIPMENTS:
All shipments must be inspected upon delivery for visible signs of damage or possible damage. Have the delivery
person make a note of the damage before you sign for it.
UPS Shipments –You must file a Damage Report with UPS.
Truck Line Shipments – Upon delivery, all damage or possible damage must be noted on the bill of lading.
All cartons, boxes, packaging, etc. MUST be kept for inspection by UPS or Truck Line Inspectors. No damaged parts will
be accepted for return unless UPS or K&L are notified within 48 hours.
SHIPMENT DISCREPANCIES:
All shortages and shipping errors must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Call or fax our Customer Service
Department. We will assist you in correcting the problem.
NON-WARRANTY RETURNS POLICY:
K&L accepts non-warranty returns as follows (see the separate Warranty Returns Policy for return of defective products):
Returns must be authorized within 30 days of Yamaha invoice.
Return shipments must have the Return Authorization Number visible on the outside of the package.
Product must be in restockable/resaleable condition, free of permanent markings of any type,
and with all original packaging.
Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee (no restocking fee if K&L was at fault).
Closeout, discontinued and essential products are not eligible for return.
