This section describes the likely causes and remedies for problems.
If your Generator requires repair, bring it to a Yamaha dealer.
Engine won’t start

ver closed?
Turn the fuel tank cap air vent
lever to the “ON”.

Have you drained the fuel ac-
cording to the procedure of
storage after the previous
use?
The fuel line and the carbure-
tor may be clogged. Consult a
Yamaha dealer.
Engine oil Is the engine oil level low? Add engine oil. 3-2
Spark plug
Is the spark plug dirty with car-
bon or wet?
Remove carbon or wipe spark
plug dry.
